In all fairness Ive been talking about apes before I began listening to rogans podcast a few years ago. But I definitely noticed when he would talk about them. Now I don’t even hear it I think I just nod and think “yeah that’s true they’ll frick you up” and don’t even realize it.

How is he a hack? I like his podcast but, and this is my own opinion without knowing anything about that reddit or him being a hack, I don’t think he’s that good a comedian. Simply put

Bert isn’t horrible but I don’t think he should have the level of popularity he’s gained. A lot of people in that inner circle only have the popularity they do because of hanging with rogan.
Other than that he seems to change his opinions and attitudes depending on who’s on the podcast. And it’s not merely to prevent awkwardness and have a good show, because with other people he’s maintained his opinions and made shit awkward acted like an absolute baby. He’s just super selective about it. At times there seems to be no logic, at other times it seems like hes cowering to avoid cancellation.
Agree with most of that. Never thought he was funny at all as a stand up comedian. Get a decent laugh out of the shit he says on the podcast, but its not comedy. He's funny in the way one of your pals is funny in conversation, not in a witty or creative way. I think the whole shifting opinion thing is more down to which belief is being challenged and by whom. He's not going to change his views on shit that he actually knows about or gives a shit about, but he'll usually defer to someone he respects on topics that he doesn't know much about

This is something I don't think he gets enough credit for. He will change his opinion on things he doesn't know when he learns new angles on those subjects.
Also, out of all the interview type radio podcast guys, Joe does it the best. He's not constantly cutting off his guests and trying to lead the conversation, like so many others have gotten really bad about doing.
He's the most popular interviewer ever. He's doing something right.

Was an awesome interview. I hate interviews but I watched the entire thing. Tucker is a class act. And yes, Rogan is obssessed with chimps, nobody just made that up.
Tucker has some slimy strategy to build his brand by pushing nonsense. He is poorly spoken and shallow on every point he tries to make. It’s all he knows. He was fired from Fox for getting them sued pushing conspiracies without evidence about voting machines.
He would get shredded by any competent opponent or a decent interviewer but Joe has lost his heart. He’s not curious or brave enough to challenge his guests. I think his critics ruined it for him. Tucker’s just a salesmen who has identified what’s left of Joe’s audience as easy suckers.
