I think i get around 100-160 grams of protein per day. It differs every day. My recovery is a bit slow, but i'm 30+ and dont use creatine, sleep is horrible which is normal for a guy my age so yeah..

at least eat 200 grs of fish or chicken or meat everyday
chug a shake or bite a bar
and make sure your snacks have cheese or yoghurt in them

      this is 100 grs

that way you can compensate to a large extent

People like to use this units interchangeably but it's important to stress you're talking about 200g of CHICKEN here not protein.
200g chicken is literally one fricking chicken filet. It's lunch.

You need to eat that chicken, but you also need to eat something else, plus a shake. 200g chicken is like 30g protein. Eat that, + 3 eggs or something for dinner, + a shake and you got too much protein even. You don't need much.

I made the mistake of eating like 150g of protein every day because of the memes. It really fricked me up by the end, before I realized

    >Dietary methionine restriction also reduces adiposity but does so through a paradoxical increase in both energy intake and expenditure. The increase in energy expenditure fully compensates for increased energy intake and effectively limits fat deposition. Perhaps more importantly, the diet increases metabolic flexibility and overall insulin sensitivity and improves lipid metabolism while decreasing systemic inflammation. In this chapter, we describe recent advances in our understanding of the mechanisms and effects of dietary methionine restriction and discuss the remaining obstacles to implementing methionine restriction as a treatment for metabolic disease.
