People load up more than they can handle on the leg press, and then they snap their legs when they lock out.
Doesn't happen really with squats, worse is you bail out or collapse onto the safeties.
Dont jump up in weight unrealistically or egolift, and dont squat without safeties if youre going heavy. Both workouts are fine if you do them correctly andbuild foundational strength throughout your body to prevent injury.
