i remember as a kid going to the supermarket with my parents and every week i'd get one of those cool stickers from the sticker machine next to all the gumball machines. cost 25¢ which was never a problem since i could always find a quarter on the ground that people drop near the register when my parents were paying at checkout. my favorite one was one that was the snickers logo but it said sBlack folk. shit was SO cash

How did stickers got away with so much shit? My friend has sticker set from ben 10 than includes a pregnant gwen, and the stickers are almost a decade old

My sweet and beautiful girlfriend just bought me a bunch of stuff from Gymshark. She was like "you go to the gym so much and these were on sale so I got you new clothes." I was thinking ah shit I want to return these but I don't want to make her upset so I'll wear them, I'll make that sacrifice because I love her.

Hey, if you go to Ross or Marshall’s you can get some pretty cool brand name clothes for dirt cheap, both regular and gym attire. I get a lot of collared shirts, pants and gym outfits there. Also Costco has some good name brand clothes for cheap.

If you’re going to be edgy and tell me even those are too much money, the only step lower is shopping at goodwill. And I finally am making decent money in life so let me live a little.

Well, I paid whatever high cost for GymShark sweats 10 years ago and still wear them. I haven't bought any other sweat pants since. I prefer to buy once cry once. Growing up my parents bought me cheap clothing that never lasted. I buy higher quality clothing that last longer, are more durable, aesthetic, and comfortable.

Blackrock, China and Billionaires are going to own 50% of the property by 2050 and the only way to own shit is hoping your family left you property with not too high of a property tax (which will get more and more inflated) that you have to sell the place. Businesses nor people shouldn’t be allowed to stockpile properties and empty lots like they’re investments, use it or lose it.

Exactly. Even long before industrialization, more expensive clothes were a flex and how you showed your worth. Has nothing to do with “the joos brainwashing”. Hell, even African tribes that are cut off from western culture trade gems and things to make israeliteelry.

Besides, everyone has their tastes and what they are willing to spend money on. If it isn’t clothes, it’s for video games, or a hobby, or whatever else a person might find value in. OPs is probably in onlyfans subscriptions so it is what it is

Regardless of branding, why is it bad adorning your body with fine threads? I bought a pair of GymShark sweats over 10 years ago and they're still holding up. They fit me extremely well and are comfortable which is why I bought them and not because of the brand. I cringe at the homosexuals wearing Walmart clothes and chuck tailors.

Part of getting fit is wanting to wear nice clothes, note nicer, not bad quality with a fancy logo. I used to think dressing in a suit was exclusively for people who worked wearing suits but I’ve got a few now despite working in fitness. Though I suppose since I own 15 btc and 120 eth I can call myself an investor

Same, but at some point you go frick it, i'll buy one for christmas, or i'll pretend to be a christian and wear it to church sometime. Wearing a suit is cool af, and people on the street don't know who the hell you are so they can't judge. I have bought two suits recently and i'm a poorgay. I don't wear them all the time, but when i do it feels pretty nice.

You guys are aware by doing this you're the definition of posers, yeah? I hope you guys are still in college and will grow out of this shit.

You’re aware dressing in plain clothes is just as much posing, just a different message, we just wear things that feels nice looks sharp, while you wear “look at me I don’t give a shit I’m above public perception!!!” Nobody cares how little you guys care about things. Do you still have expensive high performing PCs or what do you spend your money on? And how is it any different.

Same goes for shoes bro. Once you get something custom fit for you everything else feels awkward, definitely worth the extra cost if you can afford it. And there’s frick all other things to spend money on after you have the home you want and can set aside a few weeks or month a year for trips.
