>>he wipes down gym equipment after use
I do it before and after I use equipment. Before if I notice the stains of other peoples' sweat on the grip because it makes me think I lift a few % worse due to it. I need it to be clean, then after because I don't wanna be a hypocrite
Yeah
People don't gotta catch my germs.
I mean yeah, I'm white not a nig.
wait people actually do this? ive only seen women do it
Cmon man, a bit of sweat never killed nobody. Girls are just to neurotic about it, I don't care enough to wipe for them and I clap inside my head when they don't wipe the equipments as well.
I think Indians should be forced to wipe equipments though, they are disgusting and smell bad 24/7.

I only do this if it’s a station I know a woman is going to use soon. If a girl asks me how many sets I have left I’ll inflate the number a little and make sure to really slather my taint and ball sweat all over
short relevant story for you anons....
some Black person would get his monkey sweat all over the equipment at my gym. about the 4th or 5th it happened, it was late at night and I was already in a shit mood so I said frick it. I knew better than to try to reason with him (don't ever try to be diplomatic with blacks)
I went to the parking lot and ripped his license plate off his shitty old pontiac. I watched him drive off without noticing it missing. Never saw him again.
I'm guessing he is either in jail or at very least without a car to drive to the gym. One of the proudest moments of my life.
Wiping down equipment is one of those base level duties that signify if you are capable of living in a civilized society. There is no reward for it, there is no punishment for not doing it. It is a common courtesy that shows a baseline respect for your community and those around you. It's like not littering, cleaning up after your dog, or returning the shopping cart at the grocery store. If you aren't capable of doing these than you aren't fit for a civilized society and should be exiled from it.
>returning the shopping cart
yes >not littering
generally yes >cleaning up after your dog
depends on where >wiping down
it's a gym, stop being a fairy the sweat and bacteria aren't going to hurt you
>be me >never wipe down >rerack everything, even sometimes go out of my way to put plates and equipment where they belong (a lot of people have problems with this) >usually stick to barbells and DBs, only machines I use are leg curl and knee extension after DL/squat >some spastic dyel is on it >he gets done, starts neurotically wiping it down >uses way too much water >leaves, thinking he did a good deed >the whole apparatus is now just wet and I have to, for the first time, wipe it down to dry it
wet = slippery = bad
I make sure to upgrade every barbell, dumbbell and pull-up bar by leaving residues of chalk and dead cells
you are welcome
Some people have this piss smelling sweat that lingers on the machines. No matter how much I wipe them down, the smell persists in that area. Really kills motivation. I can smell it on people sometimes too just in day to day interactions... once I smell it on someone I avoid them like the plague. So disgusting.
AND I rerack my weights properly.
What are you going to do about it, homo?
Don't be a Black person, anon
YGMI
Police exist as well, but I still carry a pistol.
wait people actually do this? ive only seen women do it
Same.
I've never wiped anything down. Nobody has said anything. If they care, they wipe it down before they use it. It's honestly personal preference.
Post skin color
People can get ringworm and other diseases from sweat on the equipment.
>wait people actually do this? ive only seen women do it
LOL I see what you did there

What if I rerack but don't wipe. My gym has cleaning only personnel.
They have a cleaning crew, they can do it themselves.
I do rerack the weights tho.

well done lil homie, he's going to make it
Yeah
People don't gotta catch my germs.
I mean yeah, I'm white not a nig.
Yes i was raised to not be a Black person, why is that bad?
I do it primarily because it makes me feel like I’m better than others
The only “”people”” that don’t wipe down their stations are blacks
My fat ass is sweating profusely all over it - so out of common courtesy, I'll wipe down my sweaty ass and ball print from the machine.
I prefer leaving my sweaty ass and ball print stains all over the gym, it marks my territory and makes me the alpha of the gym.
I only do this if it’s a station I know a woman is going to use soon. If a girl asks me how many sets I have left I’ll inflate the number a little and make sure to really slather my taint and ball sweat all over

I'm dyel as fk but I have noticed the only people who wipe down machine are using it are buff dudes. Maybe there's a correlation
I'm not going to OCD scrub down everything I touch but it's only polite to wipe shit down if I just finished sweating all over it for 20 minutes
uh yeah I don't want that gym slob leaving his gross sweat behind on all the equipment
>t. homegym

A venn diagram of people who don't wipe down equipment and people who don't replace their smoke detector batteries would just be a circle.
I always clean the gym twink when I'm done
>swn point and laugh at you as she forces you to lick her sweat off the gym equipment

I don't think I've ever seen anyone wiping down equipment in my gym
I been wiping down way before it was cool, Chud.
i carry a small towel around and merely pretend to wipe machines down with it....but i never do.
I work hard in my sets and sweat a lot, so yes I am going to wipe down the equipment
>wipe off bench after using it
>fat boomer who wears a belt the entire time he's in the gym wipes it down again before he uses it
fixed that image for you tyrone
The problem is the spray that kills sweat and bacteria also gets absorbed into your skin and that can't be healthy.
