Why do so many fitness influencers like bullshitting people about their height? Especially if they use their bodies as a "mark" of how much they are to be trusted. They're not actors, so there's no camera tricks that can fool people into believing their lies.

people are conscious of this at some level, which is why jacked midgets lie about their height in order to maintain some level of status as fitness gurus online(people wouldn't be as willing to take their advice if they knew it offered no benefit to the gurus themselves)
