    Track your calories, be in a calorific deficit of ~500, and STOP GOING OUT TO EAT GARBAGE. I literally eat out once a week with my friends, everything else is stuff I make at home (and I cook in bulk)

    Idk if OP will ever see this but here goes. This will be long, but read all of it.

    Google "TDEE calculator" and figure out your TDEE. Every day, you need to eat TDEE - 500 calories. Download MyFitnessPal on your phone and use it track everything you eat, including cooking oil. Buy a food scale and use it to measure out your food. You may find that you are hungry a lot. If so, make sure you are eating protein rich foods to feel fuller for longer.

    Use a step tracker to make sure you get 5000 steps a day. If you don't have a step tracker, just go on a 30 min brisk walk a day.

    Do these steps for a 2 months and when it feels easy and part of your day to day life. By this time you should have lost weight. At least 8 lbs. Post on here again and I or someone else will provide you with a beginner weightlifting program for women. I am not giving you this now because you need to do baby steps to keep from burning yourself out.

              idk. I usually have no appetite even when my stomach growls and starts hurting. Then I took anti-psychotics and I started snacking non stop while hardly being aware of how often I was eating eating something.                 I have obsessive personality type so I got more food addicted than a normal person would I think. And I was making the same size meals as always, just...wasn't feeding a family anymore. Eating several portions at once got me bad and I never had to worry about my weight before so I was genuinely shocked upon getting knee pain and seeing how disgusting my legs had become. I can't see my gut or thighs because of my chest and just didn't realise at all.

                Lost my Father to cancer and with him gone I no longer had any reason to keep pretending I cared for my cheating prostitute mother. She's dead to me and only ever contacts me to ask for money anyway.

                I was joking about the loose skin because I've never been fat, but nice breasts. Lose the weight first and worry about that later, although I don't think you'll have that problem since you don't seem to be extremely obese. Maybe if you drop a ton really fast, yeah it'll be a problem, but you'll probably be happy with how you look even if you only drop 10 lbs. And either way, loose skin is a better problem to have than obesity.
                As for losing it, learn to cope with feeling hungry. You will lose a lot just by cutting out snacks or even a full meal. It's really that easy, although maybe not sustainable. Long term you'll want to make lifestyle changes so you can eat all you want without getting fat, aka hit the gym. Make the gym another routine, like showering or brushing your teeth (which I hope you do, otherwise you're a lost cause)

                I have pretty bad double chin that I really want gone and I think I'll keep going until my knees stop feeling sore. I don't have access to gym but I got weights and will try going on walks once my knees stop hurting. Thankfully I am very hygienic, I can't function without showering every morning and brushing my teeth.

                You can definitely put on muscles especially on your legs and butt. Do barbell squats and romanian deadlifts. Go on youtube and look up booty builder programs and such. You'll have no trouble building muscle with the sheer caloric surplus you're in. Just make sure you sleep enough every night.

                It's the same for women as it is for men: just fricking do it. Don't even bother with research on the best workout plan, or diets/supplements/whatever. Literally just dedicate a few minutes per day to lifting weights, doing squats, etc as much as you can, however you want. Once you start to see some results (which should be quick if you're consistent) it'll hopefully motivate you to take it seriously and eventually become a regular aspect of your life.

                That's how I got into lifting. I had to do rehab for a busted elbow which involved building some muscle in my arms and shoulder. It only took like a week before I noticed those little rehab exercises getting easier and easier and then I was like "I wonder how far I can go with this?" It was fascinating. The human body is an incredible machine.

                Don't be thinking like that, once you start working out and it becomes a habit you won't dread it and be looking for the least possible. Most people who do weights will so an hour or two of work 3-5 times a week, but you should be focusing on conditioning and cardio shit which will pan out a bit differently. Let's say you walk a mile each day, that takes a bit of time, running a mile does more for your body than walking a mile and takes less time, right? So how much you work out is obviously up to you, but just start doing shit, start a routine or a program like couch to 5k and stick with it.
                I read somewhere, and it's damn true I use it in my life, that something becomes a habit after you've done it 13 days in a row. Now working out you may do 3 days, rest, 3 days, rest, and it may take a month for you to have it become habit,natural whatnot, but if you start now, within a month you'll feel good doing these things, your body will crave it. So start now.

                Good. Report back in a month in one of the kettlebell threads detailing how you're doing. KB swings are very good, they work a lot of different muscles, and they're pretty solid cardio in and of themself once you're doing more reps. I'd strongly encourage you to walk as others have mentioned after as a cool down. Obviously too late now if you're showering most likely, but tomorrow when you do more walk afterwards.
                If your leg hurts that's ok, every injury I've ever had I've had to use the affected body part to aid in its recovery. When your body knows you need a specific function say walking with your leg, your body will repair the injury. With dietary changes like switching to water only as liquid, you'll be feeling no pain in a month, that I can guarantee you, if you are honest and work hard and aren't cheating.

                Okay yeah I'll change up my routine a bit and do the swings and a walk before my morning shower and breakfast. I'm a bit concerned about it making it really hard to dry my hair after, it's down to my waist and needs to be blow dried but I'll just power through it. I'm going out to get lots of berries, veggies, green tea and chicken liver. I still have a lot of diet coke in the house so it'll be a while before I stop it but I'll cut down to one can a day.

                Find food you like. If you hate broccoli don't eat it. My diet is eggs, meat, oatmeal, milk, I don't do many veggies personally, but they are good for you. My breakfast recipe advice is oatmeal, milk in it, heat, then put vanilla Greek yogurt in it, and blackberries and stir. I use Cabot, it's far and away the best brand imo. Try very hard to like the stuff you eat because if you don't you'll fall in to the trap of, of I've been good today, I deserve xyz, shit like Reese's, garbage whatever

                I could never cut my hair! I will just take time to rest before drying, maybe do after breakfast so my arms have had some rest. That oatmeal sounds delicious, I wish I hadn't eaten yet. I made chicken liver gyros with salad, it was pretty good. Bulked up my plate with lettuce, tomato, cucumber. I could eat every day though probably not good to have liver that often. Tomorrow I'll try oats with frozen berries and activia yogurt.

                Like I said, just do as much as you want. The goal is to build a new habit you can stick to, because even if you do it "badly", you WILL see results over time, and it's easier to optimize later. You need to adopt the mentality of "I'm a (home) gym person now"
                Its like brushing your teeth. Even if you don't floss each one and scrub your tongue every day, the fact that you brush them regularly puts you on a completely different level than someone who doesn't brush them. It will be obvious to everyone around you that you're someone who works out regularly, even if you don't notice it yourself (like bad breath. damn that's a good analogy)
                Just don't over do it, because it's easy to get injured, and that will kill your momentum if you can't workout while recovering. Body sculpting can't be rushed.

        I was joking about the loose skin because I've never been fat, but nice breasts. Lose the weight first and worry about that later, although I don't think you'll have that problem since you don't seem to be extremely obese. Maybe if you drop a ton really fast, yeah it'll be a problem, but you'll probably be happy with how you look even if you only drop 10 lbs. And either way, loose skin is a better problem to have than obesity.
        As for losing it, learn to cope with feeling hungry. You will lose a lot just by cutting out snacks or even a full meal. It's really that easy, although maybe not sustainable. Long term you'll want to make lifestyle changes so you can eat all you want without getting fat, aka hit the gym. Make the gym another routine, like showering or brushing your teeth (which I hope you do, otherwise you're a lost cause)

        As a first step, start tracking what you eat, read the sticky and calculate your TDEE. Make your food yourself and don't buy stuff like frozen pizza from the supermarket and don't eat out a lot. Here's a video on the losing weight topic.     We should really have more focus on discipline and willpower in threads like this. This b***h knows to diet and exercise. We learn this shit in the 2nd grade. That's not the problem for fatties. I'd be shocked if there was a single fatty that didn't understand "stop eating".

    How does one refine and hone discipline and willpower? Or, at least, remove it from the equation? That's the question.

    Every day, it gets harder. About 20 years ago, you removed all the junk food from your house. All the sugary drinks. Replaced the pantry with cans of vegetables. You force yourself into a position where you won't eat unless your really hungry because it's not enjoyable.

    Now there's food delivery service everywhere. Which is not only dooming to diets, but also dooming financially. Once we get, we're back to the problem of willpower.

    That's why these new fatty drugs are thousands of dollars per pop. That's how much people will pay to overcoming that willpower problem. There HAS to be a better way.
