Here's the deal. Let's say I need 2000 calories each day.

Here's the deal. Let's say I need 2000 calories each day. So, now I have to decide the source of those 2000 calories. Should I eat 2000 calories worth of pizza? Should I eat 2000 calories worth of meat? Should I eat a little bit of everything? Here's the answer: I should eat 2000 calories worth of nutrient-dense foods.

Will I get more nutrients if I eat 100 calories worth of leafy green vegetables or 100 calories worth of red meat?
tl;dr health is achieved via moderate caloric restraint within a of nutrient excellence

see you later boys

    red meat

Wrong. You're comparing 100 grams of beef to 100 grams of green leafy veggies. I'm asking you to compare 100 calories of each, not grams. Nobody gives a shit about weight when it comes to nutrition.

the quoted text clearly says calories

          Then you're quite simply wrong.
Furthermore, red meat will provide you with none of the fiber or phytochemicals. Cheers.

What the frick are "meat nutrients"?
Also, I'm not saying eat only green leafy vegetables; I'm saying eat mostly green leafy vegetables. The majority of your caloric intake should come from green vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, and seeds.

By "meat nutrients" he presumably means the micro-nutrients only found in meat and animal foods, which is most of them. Phytonutrients are either in the wrong form and thus not bio-available (for example iron, causing vegans to be anemic no matter how much green veg they eat) or are missing entirely like vitamin A, DHA, B12, essential aminos, and probably 20 other things.

I am against veganism because I actually practiced it for about 1.5 years and saw how badly it fricked up my gut when trying to eat high protein. But I was still in better shape than the pic on the right.

Eat meat and other animal products from healthy animals who ate a species appropriate diet. Focus on getting more organ meats. This means grass fed beef, chickens and egg from chickens that ate a *non vegetarian* diet, wild caught fish, wild game meat, etc.
Raw beef liver should taste fruity when it is grass fed.

I think picrel looks fricking stupid. Your Liver Kang looks unhealthy, acts like a child, takes steroids, and is mentally moronic lol
By all means, eat some meat. But 90% of your caloric intake should come from green vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, and seeds.

Seeds are full of antinutrients. Plants are full of fiber. Too much fiber messes up my bowel movements. I have some fruit, mushrooms and even green vegetables and roots from time to time as treats but they aren't the foundation of my diet.

40-65% of your intake should be from meat and eggs.

Yes, we still need to illuminate our surroundings, because our eyes haven't evolved to see in the dark in the last 10,000 years.

Similarly we have to eat animals, because our gut hasn't evolved over the past 10,000 years from when we were hunter gatherers and/or scavengers for 2 million years.

You are slowly figuring it out moxyte.

I hear that some non Nordics can tolerate a much more plant heavy diet than the typical Nordic can. One reason for this is that a higher percentage of them can convert β-carotene to vitamin A.

yes, people disregard the ethnicity/race factor when discussing ideal diets because it is taboo. Our various ancestors evolved to better process different things depending on what was available in their environment. seems pretty obvious to me

And the ones who evolved to eat more plants also evolved smaller brains.

What's your point? You can perfectly digest all foods, not just meat and dairy. How does your post contradict my basic premise?
Also, you do realize that the ability to feed is basic to humans, right? What I mean by that is it doesn't matter if there was an ice age in Europe 20.000 years ago. You seem confused and not making a lot of sense.

Vitamin A can be found in plants. DHA (and omega-3 in general) are essential for good brain function, especially in the later stages in life. Omega-3 and 6 can be found in nuts and seeds, but I personally choose to eat fish once or twice every month, while also eating nuts and seeds daily. As for B12, I eat some eggs weekly, and some meat monthly or weekly too. I don't see what the problem is.
      >essential aminos, and probably 20 other things
I'm gonna need you to be a bit more specific, friend.
I need to point this out: I am not vegan and I don't give a shit about vegans. I only advocate for a diet that moderately and automatically restricts caloric intake while maximizing nutrient intake.

Dude no matter your goals the absolute best diet is
    >breakfast
Eggs, if you do better with carbs early potatoes
    >lunch
    Potatoes
    Chicken, or fish
    >dinner
    Potatoes
    Red meat, fish, or chicken

Throw a cup of mixed veggies for at least one of those meals, snack on fruit and almonds.

This diet will get you big or make cutting pretty easy. Just adjust the calories based on goal (eat less or more potatoes).

    >100 Calories of leafy greens + 100 Calories of red meat = 200 calories of food
You have 1800 more Calories to go. Make sure you're eating 1 g protein per pound of body weight first, and then plan your calories around that.
