his advice on abs training is ultra stupid. he says you dont need to train it to maintain cause le compounds work it
enough to prevent atrophy and evenbgrow it.
>why yes seed oils are perfectly healthy what gave it away
thats why hes bald

What are you talking about? He is literally the opposite of that. He specifically says that others are moronic because they think abs are some kind of magic muscle that dont need to be trained or you can just train bodyweight like once a week. He very delibirately explains that to grow your abs you need to treat it as any other muscle group and focus on progressive overload, weighted exercises, up the weight, up the reps etc.
And thats exactly why he looksl ike shit. Because the "you dont need to train your abs" group is more right as in that you dont want to hypertrophy your abs. You dont want big, thick core for aestethics, you want to keep your waist as small as possible and have just enough abs to give you definition, but you dont necessarily want to hypertrophy them as big as possible like you would with your shoulders or arms.
This is true tho. If you develop abs you won’t lose them. I haven’t trained abs in over a year and I haven’t lost any ab definition.
He doesn’t say you shouldn’t train abs, simply that once you have them you don’t need to train them to keep them
To maintain that much lean mass you have to eat a lot of food, more than your body ever intended. Your intestines will be constantly stretched from the excessive amount of material, and the additional hormones will allow your intestines to grow in response. Thus, you have the three things that anything else in your body requires to grow, 1.) stimulus from the constant stretching, 2.) nutrients from the excessive amounts of food, and 3.) the hormone profile to allow it. I think you could do plenty of roids and growth hormone without getting something like this if you stick to calorie dense foods and avoid anything at all that causes bloating, like oats, fibrous vegetables, and sugar alcohols commonly found in protein bars/powders/fitness related products.
When it comes to seeking advice, in any field, generally people seek the advice from somebody that they want to emulate or somebody that they can see is good at the thing they're trying to learn
The reason that people clown on dr mike is that he is definitely large, but he doesn't have the kind of body that most people would want when they start out weightlifting, or probably even after a year of weightlifting
Let's say both prime Frank Zane and Dr Mike are giving you advice on bodybuilding, whose advice are you going to take?
I understand your point you're trying to make. Being genetically gifted doesn't mean you know how to train better though, not to mention a lot of bodybuilders are getting coached. Just like how you have powerlifters getting coached by people who couldn't do it themselves
>Being genetically gifted doesn't mean you know how to train better though
This is really underappreciated because people underestimate the degree to which just having better genetics can massively improve your results with the exact same amount of work so the end result is you have people with elite genetics who have succeeded in spite of many of their training quirks rather than because of them and both them and people watching them think those quirks are a reason for success rather than a detriment
I wonder if most of genetics is just how hard you push yourself. I never see someone busting their ass doing 30 pound lat pulls, so they could do more.
He's like 40lb heavier at a similar leanness than a bodybuilder his height from like 1980, yet he doesn't really look freakier? Why? Because so much of that extra mass is on his gut. And his legs too, admittedly.
Really I think he looks pretty cool in regular pictures people don't try to cherry pick. I agree about the weight thing though, I wouldn't imagine he was nearly as heavy, especially considering his height. He's just not pro bodybuilder tier, I don't think you can expect people to have it all though. What's the chances of someone that's perfect bodybuilder genetics also making their life fitness academia? But yea, look at someone insane like flex Lewis that cuts down to the lighter class mr. O and of course he doesn't come close to looking like that
i hate it when fitness gurus act like they have the 100% perfect truth on every last detail and then you look at them and are like "i wouldn't even trade bodies with them"
I used to troll Mike Israel threads but his subjective mind muscle connection pump myorep mojo is rubbing off on me. I dont pretend to understand it but I sure try as I do my "myoreps" and kyriakos grizzly holds.
>that protruding stomach with very little fat covering the muscles
this man’s heart pumps grease. that bulging is from visceral fat and enlarged organs from his PED use.
his points are nearly bulletproof though. even when somebody isn't exercising ideally, he mentions that they might be doing it because of injury. he gives freedom to ideas, but when there is something objectively wrong, he won't let them get away with it. most people are exercising incorrectly.
He's gay as shit. The bodybuilding thing is just a way for him to stare at, discuss, and think about men's bodies all day. He's got some serious psychological issues. Also cracks me up that he talks about his jiu-jitsu skills when he can't even touch his toes or lift his arms over his head.
236 lbs
Almost all of it is in his gut lol

You’re a fricking moron. His stomach looks like shit from something to do with the gear. For the love of god you cannot be that stupid
>delibirately
Training your abdominals and obliques will not make you rotund like a roid-troony
This is true tho. If you develop abs you won’t lose them. I haven’t trained abs in over a year and I haven’t lost any ab definition.

You are actually right. Theres 20kg there easy maybe even 30kg .
>why yes seed oils are perfectly healthy what gave it away
obsessed
ah that sweet sweet palumboism
Kek the fact that you have to wonder whether this is edited or not says it all
He looks pregnant, like his pecs are morphing into breasts for the future child thats going to birth from him.
look at the MASS tho
Twinks on suicide watch. Science has validated the bloatmaxx physique.
what causes this? Do years of HGH + roid abuse really cause his organs to grow that much and stick out?
BrohD here.
I believe his condition is due to injection of foreign hormones over prolonged periods of time, resulting in a shutdown of his natural production.

i see why nattys love this guy, hes really giving roiders a bad rep
Why does he make little gays on here seethe so much?

Because he's an arrogant prick who looks like shit.
as ottermode twink he would look decent tho.
What do you look like?
gorilla gut STRONK

mike pros: smart, funny (by fitness industry standards), gives reasonably good advice, practices what he preaches
mike cons: short, bald, israeli, constantly shills his gay app, thinks he trains way harder than everyone else
idk bros i like some of his videos
I used to troll Mike Israel threads but his subjective mind muscle connection pump myorep mojo is rubbing off on me. I dont pretend to understand it but I sure try as I do my "myoreps" and kyriakos grizzly holds.

I'm not sure acting like you want to frick dudes three times every video is that funny, but he sure is.
>funny
homie what, are you 12 or something?
>that protruding stomach with very little fat covering the muscles
this man’s heart pumps grease. that bulging is from visceral fat and enlarged organs from his PED use.
If the devil offered him a deal to take away his money and success in exchange for 10 inches of height, will he do it ?
He has some good advice but he's just another fitness grifter pumping out bullshit videos for ad revenue.
His exercise scientists reacts are especially the worst. A bodybuilder criticizing athletes training routines is so cringe

>Mogged by a 78 year old ghostbuster
> generic copy paste dr mike hate thread
> everybody in it is 100% moronic
Like magic.
Do you expect a board full of impressionable and easily manipulated 18-22 year olds to have a well thought opinion or thoughts on anything ever?
i've seen a couple of his youtube videos, they're entertaining, but what's up with the nonstop gay jokes?
