Is there any point to it? The only people I ever see using them at my gym are cardio bunnies and fatties.
That applies to both the adduction and abduction machines.

They are both almost a must for middle split progressions and help a lot with kicking
Idk for bodybuilding tho
OP here. I dont like your posts.
Not OP here, your mother likea my big dick in her ass LOL LMAO
moron
gay
I like how it hurts for days and it's nice if a girl massages you kinda hard there before a hj. I don't do them anymore though.
They're great, especially adductors since the adductors are a massive muscle group
As a guy who plays soccer on the side, they helps me a lot. I only do it once a week but it works well to reduce aches
I have discomfort/strain in my crotch where the abductor connects. Advice?
Usually get it after I run 10km, then feel it for the rest of the day. Not the muscle I think more like the connective point of the bone/tendon.
Feels like I will rip it off through flexing too hard.
Helped fix a lot of my knee pain when I started including this shit. Turns out we need to train all our muscles, even the good girl/bad girl ones. Who would have thought?
I max out both of them
Warming up before squats with the abductor and hyperextension machines have helped me resolve IT band pain
Probably pretty useful if you're starting out with mt/kickboxing and can't throw kicks
Frankly you're gay if you don't do them.
I'm very rapidly falling in love with them
having to reconstruct my IT band after fricking it up running
doing both of these as a warmup makes your lifts feel better that’s why i do them. simple as.
WHERE IS HIS DICK
I heard they help with squatting
Why do girls lean forward when they do these? Am I doing them wrong? Yes, I want glute and hip gains.
I used to get groin pain every once in a while after heavy leg days, i haven’t felt it again since i started using these two machines.
I do two sets each with warmup weight and reps and then two heavier sets at the end of the workout
Helps a lot with stability for squats and actual athletic endeavors. I do 3x10 on each
I like to do these as cool-down/finisher exercises after heavy back squats. They're also quite useful as far as diagnosing if your adduction is out of balance with your abduction, which can lead to injuries. If you can max out one machine and barely budge the other, you're probably fricked and WOOPWOOP snap city b***h
>They're also quite useful as far as diagnosing if your adduction is out of balance with your abduction
I must politely disagree
adduction should be stronger than abduction
consider roping
I didn’t say 1:1 balance you frickup.
how do you progressively overload when any average lifter can max out the machine in the first few weeks? just do insanely high volume?
stack as many of these as you can find on it
you cant stack more than one on the machines at my gym
Just use one leg at a time?
training ads (inner tighs) are based af. they were the weakest thing in my lower legs I know it cus if I get doms from heavy lifts or running a lot, it was them.
idc about pushing them open though.
Many bodybuilders use that to build nice wideness to legs. It's actually very underrated
how do I escape the hip abduction machine? i've been stuck inside for days now...
I do adductor but not abductor. IMO abductor is just another way to target glutes, which I don't care about as I do hack Squats and good mornings. Adductor though hits your inner thigh muscles, very important for a big thigh from front on. When you're lean you'll have a thigh gap unless you develop your adductors & this machine is the way to do it directly
It's a must if you want to pee harder
I fractured my hip playing hockey and this was the #1 thing they had me do when doing rehab
Can you just do this with a band? If so, where would it be positioned?
Respond
Training hip abductors will improve your balance a lot and widen your stance making you appear bigger.
Training the one in your pic just leads to back pain
Training the outside of the thigh helps with squats+deads
Help stabilize the knee for squat and deadlift movements. Be sure to use the ass machine too.
>Help stabilize the knee for squat and deadlift movements
This. My pistols squats improved significantly
Yes, there is a point to them, just like most other exercises.
Idk why you only see fatties and women use them. At my gym everybody uses them, from roiders, powerlifters, old people, fat people, women, etc.
I can max out the adduction machine but struggle with half the weight of the abduction machine. Is that normal or do I have a massive imbalance?
That's definitely a muscle imbalance. My adduction is slightly stronger, but not that much stronger.
Yeah afaik you want it more near .8
Hmm my abduction going out is more than abduction going in.
Maybe I’m cheating with abduction or ive got huge muscle imbalance.
Never tried these until a few weeks ago after 8 years lifting
I'm using it to help rehab my hip flexor after I fricked it up
Hidden gem machine honestly
It made both squatting and running easier for me
