Power cleans, OHP and its variants, farmer carries, sandbags, basically anything strongman. But its more that just lifts thats the issue. Being masculine should be associated with athleticism not just lifting weights. If youve ever done sports you lift weights like two days a week and train with various other movements and do drills and routines. You train for function, not just to get big mostly unusable muscles.

Chris Dickerson should've won. Mentzer's 5th place was deserved, maybe 4th place was possible.
I like Zane's physique the most and would prefer to have it over anyone else on stage that day. I also think that Mentzer has better balance than Arnold and a more appealing overall physique.

It's clear from his front double biceps he had that classic standout shape in the arms and sweeping back, for example. I think the reason others are so sore is that many of them were in their best shape and it wasn't enough to beat Arnold at less than his best. Two things can be true at once: it can be true that there are politics and biased judging on the one hand, but it can also be true that Arnold deserved the win anyway and any politicking was overkill. (I don't think the same can be said of Franco's second win, Yates winning with a torn bicep, and so on).
