Is this a decent enough setup?
How could I improve cheaply?
I can only think about buying a mirror, but would appreciate input from other ISTzens.

That's pretty much my set up but I got an adjustable bench and some kettlebells too. I also have a large rock in my yard that I pick up and run around with. Works good.

Do you use the adjustable bench often?
Did you notice better gains with incline bench vs just doing regular bench?

Honestly, no. I used it here and there but really just leave it flat 9/10 times. I like the option if I ever add anything in my routine that needs it. It's the rogue one and honestly was worth every penny

Anyone have a good source for limited equipment workout planning?

      Define limited equipment.

I'd get some smaller plates as well, plus safeties.

I got the safeties, and currently:
      2x 1kg plates
      2x 2kg plates
      2x 3kg plates
      2x 5kg plates
      2x 10kg plates
      4x20kg plates
      2x25kg plates
The reason why some look so big is that they are made of concrete.

Buy more. It started with a couple pairs of dumbbells now i got dbs up to 120, cage, adjustable bench, ~500 lbs in plates. It really never ends. Gonna have to move it from the spare room to the living room spon

What are you using to organize your plates?
I am trying to find something that won't take up too much space, but nothing quite catches my eye.

Ill probably buy a rack for them when i move to a bigger room but for now i have them split evenly on each side just leaned against the wall next to the cage

I can fit the smaller plates on the side supports, and leave the 20+ plates leaning against the wall as well.

I need a better bench but between the rack and my dumbbells I can do pretty much everything I need to

It looks good, but can you do pullups with that setup, though?

yes I can do pullups, but not muscle ups

Your head has to go above the bar to call them pull ups.

your head can go above the bar easily, there is more space than it looks like there. its just muscle ups I cant do

This is what I'm working with. The lower bar on the rack is for attaching bands and helps with stability. For pull ups I put the barbell at the highest setting and do pullups with my knees up. I do my PPL across three sessions a day, two sets in the morning, two at my work gym, and whatever is left over at home after work.

Don't you feel claustrophobic with that bar right there as you are about to pick the bar to squat?

Can't you improvise with the bar and bent knees in order to do the muscle-ups?

        >Don't you feel claustrophobic with that bar right there as you are about to pick the bar to squat?
Nope, because I hinge my body to get under the barbell so I don't contact the lower bar. Then when I straighten up the j-cups give like a 2 inch clearance so my body doesn't really touch the lower bar then either.

The only time I feel it is during pull ups if I swing too much, but it reminds to tighten up my form.

Landmine will let you do one-handed lifts for much less than a set of dumbells. Meadows rows are the best lat exercise I've found so far.
If you can get them for cheaper, make your own with the base of a caster wheel bolted into a wide pvc pipe.

Also very cheap to make your own pulley system with a pulley, cable, carabiner, and pin, but I would worry if that rack would handle that kind of horizontal force without toppling.

Space allowing, jump rope is the cheapest and easiest way to add cardio for HIIT, unless you'd rather just sprint around your block.

You could get a belt for weighted pullups I guess. Or a pussy pad so you can do glute bridges without crushing your hip bones. I got a plyo box on craigslist for jefferson curls which have unfricked my back, and box jumps so I'm not just spamming squats every leg day.

Might be just the angle- but you said later that it can hold 300kg so should be okay.

I actually like it, as it helps me engage in good form and can hold up to 300kg.

My entire setup was a little over $500, give me a break, brah, I am not wealthy.
