Asian fat distribution typically is lacking in Japanese thanks to low adipose tissue availability. Metabolic diseases instead take the place where obesity rates should be. That being said, Japanese eat a varied diet and you're just casually racist.

Japanese eat almost four times the amount of sugar as I do.
The fact they have a metabolic disease at four times the rate isn't just a coincidence newbie.

    1) Japanese portions are tiny
    2) Most of the ramen is soup, vegetables, eggs and fish
    3) They walk everywhere, all day long
    4) Since infancy they get drilled in their very soul that they NEED to be useful to society and if they inconvenience people, they're shit ("the nail that stick out will get hammered down" etc) and being fat is bad
    5) relentless bullying for being fat at every level of society
    6) The law requires a yearly health check for all workers, and if you have a bad BMI your employer will have to make you slimmer (by giving you resources to do so) or else they'll pay a fine ("Metabolic Syndrome Countermeasures Promotion Law” (タボリックシンドローム対策の推進に関する法律)) but of course if you want to find a job and you're fat, most employer will just not hire you to avoid the hassle; so you literally lose money every second you are fat in Japan
    7) Genetically, Japanese people have very efficient carbs metabolism

Japanese culture also highly prizes the freshness and quality of ingredients, so they're more likely to eat fresh, whole foods instead of prepackaged ultra processed meals. Coupled with the street food culture that keeps the prices low, and you have a good combination for cheap, filling, and wholesome meals without having to cook at home.

Yeah being fat in japan is looked down upon more than most of the rest of the world

Women who would be considered to be "realistic sized" in the west are seen as obese whales in japan and if youre fit you can go to a bar and they'll throw themselves at you and try to get you drunk and date rape you. Little do they know thats what I want.

Wtf I've been skinny as frick and never below 34 inches, I just have hips that wide that I'd have to be literal auschwitz mode to even go below 34. I guess I'm also 6'2" so I'm physically bigger than your average jap

living in japan and i got a bad score on my health exam from my waist being 88cm, despite every other metric including blood tests being normal or above average healthy range. i’m also 190cm so it was upsetting that they take none of that into account. it makes sense if you go to onsen here and see that most dudes are absolute twigs, some with waists i could close my hands around (no homo)

1.Japanese food is healthier than western food, even “fast street foods” like ramen are still healthier than any fast food place in america.
2.Lardasses are kept inline, in asia it’s not considered rude to ask if a person gained or lost weight.
3.Japanese cities are designed for walking, very few people own cars.

Kinda true although the west is obsessed with being stuck in echo chambers meaning a fat lard man or women would probably rarely hear any negative statement about them, although woman commonly do this more then men.

Japanese food isn't deliberately turned into poison. Even their standard Western fast food outlets are forced to serve a much higher quality slop than the US/Euros get.

Japan uses some of the worst food additives known to man, and they have even more lax laws on them than the US. Luckily your average fast food there is healthier than in America but they also have the shittiest cancer inducing slop imaginable at a konbini

IF YOU ARE AMERICAN (and I cannot stress this enough) YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT REAL ACTUAL FOOD LOOKS LIKE. EVERYTHING YOU EAT HAS BEEN MICRO-POISONED BY A GOVERNMENT / CORPORATION THAT HATES YOU. JAPANESE FOOD QUALITY IS SO AMAZING, STUNNING, AND CHEAP, YOU'D BE LEFT WEEPING TEARS OF SOI WHEN YOU REALIZE HOW SCAAAAAAAAAAMMED YOU ARE!
