How bad are seed oils? What oils are safe?

I recently started trying to get IST
I started tracking macros, I noticed that I tend to have more calories from fat fats than carbs.
Something like 80 g of fat and 97 g of carbs

I'm a bit chunky but don't eat like a moron
My body looks like Michael from GTA
With the exception of Holidays with the family I don't eat sweets often

now I'm considering using coconut oil or butter instead of fake olive oil (all American olive oil), spray oil, and veggie oil

Tallow, butter, and coconut oil are all fine. Seed oils are shit for your health, especially when (repeatedly) heated. So stuff fried in old seed oil is cancer. Whole nuts and seeds are fine in moderation though.

      >Fried in seed oil
      >Literally the most heat tolerating oils
Olive oil yes can't be fried in but you have legit brain damage. This whole seed oil bullshit is from some moron on Rogan who was like DURR LESS FATTIES IN MCDINALDS IN THR 90S WHEN THRY USED BEEF LARD

        >Oxidative susceptibility of lipids is correlated with their fatty acid composition, especially degree of unsaturation of lipids. As it is well known, oils containing higher proportions unsaturated fatty acids are easier to be oxidized. Previous study showed that the oxidation rates of stearic, oleic, linoleic and linolenic acid were 1: 100: 1200: 2500.

This Is the core problem and why u should ablid speed oils
No one thay understands that oxidation is the problem can argue for seed oils

My favorite part of all the seed oil haters is they just pretend like all the rest of the world doesn't exist besides the modern US. Seed oils are not new, they've been used since ancient times all over the world, and yet magically it hasn't made people fat until now.

Not on an industrial scale like now. You are ignorant.

Moderation. Hydrolyzed seed oils, invented a while ago, were only more recently added into average everyday products in force thanks to the demonization of saturated fats by the industries that profit most from this change. This change, as you've noted, coincides with the obesity epidemic

You should not be consuming oil, ever. Oil is for lubricating machines, not for human nutrition.
