Warm milk or tea before bed can help for some. I got some new glasses with a blue light filter in them and that's helped me.

Go outside first thing in the morning and get 5min of sunlight on you.
Quit caffeine.
Try using a white noise machine, ear plugs, and a sleep mask at night.
Aim to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day of the week, no “sleeping in” days.
Set the temperature in your room to be very cool in the evenings.
Keep doing that and stick to a routine. Improving sleep hygiene doesn’t result in instant sleep gains but give it a week and ypu might start to notice. Give it a month itll be obvious.
Wear fitbit or apple watch if you have one and you can see your gains in concrete data form. You can get a knock off chinese heart/sleep monitor for $30 thay will do the same job.

Many supplements like valerian root and melatonin can actually make you sleep worse.
