How come after 10+ years of lifting, I dont have "popping" hard dense muscles?

How come after 10+ years of lifting, I dont have "popping" hard dense muscles? I just still have that soft natty look.

Everyone always be like

>yeh bro I look like this because ive been lifting for 10 years bro

So i hit 10+ years lifting, I still never achieved that "pop" to the muscle. I dont understand it because I have all the strength there, I can rep out 225 incline bench for 10+ reps, I can rep up weighted pullups with a 45lb plate on me for 10+, I can squat 315 for 10+ reps. Its not like im a weakling or something, AND I do lots of volume with light weights for getting huge pumps, so its not like im just lifting big weight, im doing the volume/density training as well. Example Ill do Leg Press for like 20-30 rep sets. I even have an ARMS day, so its not like im doing some strengthcel routine that neglects stuff like arms. I am literally doing bodybuilding, and I have pretty decent strength, I dont see anyone else at my gym squatting 3 wheels for 10+ reps.

You should cut and reveal what you have to work with. Once you get really lean you can see where you've been lacking. Also, if you're repping those numbers after 10 years, you haven't been lifting seriously for those 10 years. How long have you trained seriously; like making your body a priority in your life you move things around for?

      Lmao

How many people in ur gym are Squatting 3 plates for 10+ reps?

How many people in ur gym are Incline Benching 2 plates for 10+ reps?

How many people in ur gym are Weighted Pullups with 45lb plate for 10+ reps?

How many people have you seen (outside of top 99.99th lifters on the internet) squat 3 plates for 10 reps?

      KYS you dont understand shit.

Ignore the delusional people, those are obviously good lifts for a natty, especially the incline bench. I think you just need to be leaner to get to look that you're after

Ironically lifting with lower reps gives you that hard/dense look according to some old bodybuilders. Dorian Yates used to talk about this, this is a topic talked about a while ago but i can't find it. There is this though

    https://www.houseofhypertrophy.com/low-reps-dense/#Part%20I:%20Support%20for%20Rep%20Ranges%20Impacting%20Density%20vs%20Puffy%20Muscles
If you lifted for 10 years (Assuming its not a troll) and built most of your muscle its worth trying out imo.

I have lifted in the 1/3/5/8/10/12/15/20/30 rep range

It aint make a difference, the "pop" of the muscle was never achieved.

People used to say Dorian Yates had a density/hardness to his muscle that others didn't and they said it was because of his training style which was slightly lower reps on average.

I have lifted in the 1/3/5/8/10/12/15/20/30 rep range

It aint make a difference, the "pop" of the muscle was never achieved.

You would have to lift more consistently in the 5-6 rep range and for a longer time. But also... Genetics is a b***h. Time to troon on doughboy

Some people say you only get that hard dense look of proper muscle maturity if you have lifted very heavy for a long time.

As a natty you have to cut until you are weak af to have hard dense muscle
Or stay at 14/15% bf and look like you lift in clothes and naked, but don't have le shredded abs and hard muscles

Unless you weight sub 50kg or are a women, this isn't remotely impressive nor good for how long you've been training. I get you are "training for bodybuilding" but you've mentioned your strength multiple time. After ten years you should at least do those 10 rep with 4pl8, otherwise you're getting jackshit actual stimulus if you've been repping the same weight for multiple years. Seems like intensity is your issue here.

Considering that my REP pr is 9x180kg lowbar with 2 years of training I'd say that's reasonable.
Was 87kg bw. But I have a massive leg strong point as I was one of the best cycling sprinter in my country and got 70cm circumference thighs.

I was just making a statement of personal belief that is not farfetched, 140x10 on squat after 10 years of training IS bad if you squatted consistently, even if you don't train for strenght. Unless as mentionned, you weight 50kg or are a woman.
            >Fishing for compliments
By giving unimpressive stats to put argument into my statement ? If you noticed I am not at the standard that I think should be the minimum for a guy training for 10 years because I did not, train for 10 years. I have big legs yeah, but I know at least 5 person with bigger legs. I'm literally a frog modder my legs, shoulder and back are literally all I have.

I don't do powerlifting I do bodybuilding, I was 87 rn I'm 90. And my low bar is not french middle of the back it's just on my rear delt because I have cervical issue from a bad fall during a bike race when I was younger and high bar hurts like hell.

I squat ATG (calves on my hammies, can't physically go lower than that) and can't high bar due to cervical issue after a bad fall during a bike race when I was a teenager. I would If I could because it's a lot better for bodybuilding. I don't powerlift because I want to look good.

I can't call it a high bar because the bar isn't on my traps, because of aforementioned cervical issue, but it's higher than typical low bar and my torso is fairly straight but not completely upright, it's a weird way but can't high bar and low bar is too harsh on the elbow and doesn't give enough quad.

                Anonymous

You make a cushion with your traps and you put it on it, that's what highbar is, I'm more on my rear delt than my traps, I admit my paint drawing skills suck

I have because the doctor is free, and I have nerve issue in my neck because of the damage so I'm prone to injuries in my traps etc, that's just life sometimes shit happens and you have to adapt and continue. I would highbar if I could because it's so much better for quads.

Muh years of lifting is roidtroon cope. When it comes to natty lifting, you reach 90% of your natty potential in the first 3-4 years, past that getting any gains at all without troony drugs becomes increasingly difficult. Roidtroons don't know about that because for them gaining muscles is a linear process
