How come crossfitters are so fricking gigantic but their lifts dont match their muscle mass? Like you see people like this hitching a 180kg deadlift, meanwhile if i saw them in the gym i'd expect them to be able to deadlift like 300kg

    They have excellent cardio, and their muscles are geared more towards lactic acid tolerance, fast recovery and aerobic capacity. The fibers still grow, but they are of a different type and serve a typically different purpose to raw power. Also, they are very low bodyfat, making the muscles look larger.

          Non-elite crossfitters don't have very low bodyfat, they're just not fat like powerlifters.

    When i got the salmon ladder at fathers day church, the lady was amazed and said

    the crossfitters you see at these elite competitions are just that, elite. they have top 1% genetics on top of steroids. they could have done any sport (and steroids) and looked like that
    you will never look like that, however, because you are the absolute dredges of genetic potential
