      not dangerous as long as you drink you're electrolytes, the fasting general has a guide on how to make it. you're going to want to make it yourself as its very cheap and zero calories unlike liquidIV or other electrolyte drink mixes.

    How much gut do you need to get rid of? Eating every other day's gonna suck for any prolonged amount of time because you won't get used to the hunger like a prolonged fast.

        Assuming you can generate a big enough deficit for 2lb a week loss this is gonna majorly suck to maintain for 2.5 months. You're gonna feel like ass the whole time. better off doing OMAD or something than every other day

    It might be dangerous, that's even less food than a psmf, and Lyle went barely skirting the limit when he wrote the book.
    The limit being, your diet will eat up your muscle. Not dangerous as in anorexia, that's possible too but not the point, but dangerous as in you're giving up muscle you worked for.
    Quick fix: do a psmf instead.

    Want to make fasting/OMAD easier? First, count how many times you use the bathroom to urinate in a normal day. That is "normal" for you. Let's say a normal person urinates once in the morning, once during the day, once in the evening, and one last time before bed. Let's say that that same person also eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That means that they have a urination:eating ratio of 4:3.

    Now cut out one meal per day and take just as many trips as you normally do in a day. The ratio of urination:eating rose to 4:2, a 50% increase, by just removing one meal. That means that your body is expending more body fat than normal. Now time your meals according to how many times you used the bathroom. In this normal person's case they use the bathroom twice for every meal that they eat. Easy to remember and tangible. No artificial constructs like time, just the concrete act of taking a piss. Do that for two weeks to build a regular habit.

    After those first two weeks of habit building, dial up the ratio. Best is to add one more trip to the bathroom before every meal. So that ratio of 4:2 becomes 2:1 and thus you dial up to 3:1. You have to use the bathroom three times before you eat a meal. You are already close if not already at OMAD by doing this. Dial up the ratio to what you can stand to do as well as what your lifestyle will allow. 4:1, 5:1, 6:1 - it's up to you.

    Again, the point is that you are not watching the clock. You are waiting for your body to give you a signal. It's not perfect but it's a good measure. You still need to reassess what you eat and how you exercise on top of this, but trust me, you will have a better time listening to your body than to a timer that is not cued to your bodily functions.
