    Replaced barbell deads with trap bar, replaced back squat with zercher squat, started running, started taking stretching in my off time more seriously, began counting calories to cut, lost 70lbs within a year as a result. I kept getting a herniated disc and mild tendonitis in my knee and knew I needed to stop being such a fat frick.

    Back problems often come from weak hip muscles, which are mostly underworked in men. A lot of lateral leg raises and stopping lunges and pistol squats for a couple of months fixed all my back problems.

      Way back when they used poultices/ointments to treat syphilis topically. Mercury mixed with grease actually worked, but you had to have something over the dick to keep it on there and not make a mess of everything else. Also to hold the pus. Enter the codpiece. Then the nobility (a bunch of whom probably also had syphilis) made it a fashionable accessory.
