How do animals get so muscular despite never doing weight training?
Is it possible for a human to harness this power in some way?

    Look up myostatin inhibitors.

Being huge is part of the evolutionary strategy for many animals. Humans are tool-using intelligent pack hunters, we don’t need as much, so we’re programmed to grow less since it’s metabolically expensive

roids genetics and MEAT, LOTS AND LOTS OF MEAT
    >horses don't eat meat u moron
indeed my malicious botto friendo, but they grow their meat from plants they eat in form of microorganisms that live in their GI system, we aren't horses though and we need some protein - next question bot

There's a protein called myostatin which tells your muscles to stop growing. Having less myostatin means you'll have more muscle growth. Many animals have been selectively bred to have myostatin deficiency (google a pic of Belgian Blue cow to see how fricked up this can get) but they also have less myostatin by nature, since they rely more on brute strength than humans. AFAIK there have been some experiments with myostatin blockers in humans, but that's for old and sick people who are withering away, they're not meant to be popped like roids because you'll probably end up with a fatally enlarged heart and then die like a fricking moron.

Adding to this there are humans with congenital myostatin mutations or other pathway deficiencies and they're shredded and yoked as toddlers, it's wild. I'm sure it's not a good long term health prognosis tho

I searched for articles about them and the two I found (one American named Liam Hoekstra and some Romanian kid) turned out looking pretty normal as teenagers, they are insanely strong as children but don't turn into Dorian Yates by default when they go through puberty, in fact they don't even appear very muscular at all. Indistinguishable from other teenagers.

Animals naturally have different optimal fat levels. I think tigers in the wild usually have less than five percent body fat, which is lower than a human can survive at for a prolonged period.
