I understand that to develop this I need to focus on strength sets (1-5 reps) rather than hypertrophy (8-12) and build the 'skill' of strength. I do not intend on cutting and have no interest in gaining weight. I have no interest in looking 'visibly' muscular because I feel like it would put me to close to these hedonistic vanity-based tiktok bodybuilders who have very different motivations. I just want to be a normal looking dude who can be crazy strong when he needs to be.
I haven't started yet as I'm still developing my strategy. I'm wondering if there are any tricks or exercises that will help me develop strength while limiting potential hypertrophy as much as possible. I'm already including deadlifts, snatches, cleans (no jerk or presses as they're very shoulder isolating) and farmers carrys for example.
Don’t use your legs for anything other than walking, if something is on the ground and you need to pick it up just wait for someone else to come by and ask them because even bending at the hips would result in enough stimulus to grow your legs bigger than this

To a significant extent this is true, but even the strong guys in /plg/ will tell you that, at least once you've gotten through pure n00b gains, not to neglect volume lifting for specific hypertrophy because, ultimately, making muscles bigger makes them stronger. You won't look like a bloated, top heavy, soft muscle gayet bodybuilder unless you roid and bro-lift like one.

If you're fat, you need to cut to a normal weight. If you're a normal weight, you're going to need to gain weight in order to gain a lot of strength.

Jerks are really 90% the leg drive and torso rigidity to shove the weight up. Some overhead lifting should be included to be actually strong.

Ignoring the fact that you are pathologically stupid your best course of action is to just train in the 1-3 rep range. Focus either on building explosiveness and moving lighter weight very fast for a few reps paired with a focus on strength moving heavy weights around 80-95% of your 1RM. Do something like 4-5 sets of 1-3 reps on the main exercises and little else. Specialize in movements you want to be "impressive" at and most do those or close variations. Also you probably do still want some hypertrophy because in the end if you don't have muscle your max potential strength is just not gonna be impressive. Basically impossible so I would advise to just run normal programs for 1-2 years regardless and then just always stay at a low bf% whilst wearing baggy clothes.
If you want to be autistic about it you might as well think about which muscles you can best "hide" and put a little more focus on those. But honestly only the lower back comes to mind here...
