eat 2300 calories a day with 160g of protein, 200g carbs, and the rest fats. find a hypertrophy focused upper lower split so you only have to do 4 days a week (5 for abs but you can do that on a lower day). get 7-8 hours of sleep. consume 30-40g of protein every 3-4 hours and do your cardio, i guarantee you with 100% certainty you will make gains and lose fat, at least in the beginning. you’ll eventually plateau but at that point you should have an understanding of you’re doing

it’s a program that should be dropped after 2-3 months of lifting once you understand how a barbell works. if you want to get big, you gotta do a split. if you want to be strong, SS is bottom tier program

you can make it to 0 calories. is that the best way to do it? probably not, but best is also subjective. most people who are lean for life do it on a 200-300kcal deficit and they take maintenance periods after dieting for longer than 12 weeks. so 12 weeks diet, 12 week maintenance and if you still need to lose, then go on another 12 week cut etc. if you are fricking fat then doin this would literally take like 3-4 years if not more so obviously it depends. And also it depends if you go for 10% or 12% or 13-15%. Going from 12% to 10% is literally 2+ months. If your goal is to just end up at 15% you can more or less suicide cut and still be fine.
