How do I deal with cardio health anxiety? Im 25, I run, I lift, I eat okay, unvaxed, but I'm scared shitless whenever I hear about heart diseases, strokes, cardiac arrests, etc.
Overscanning and focusing on what i feel in my body, always on the lookout for the next sign that I may have afib or whatever the frick. All doctors say I'm fine. Family never had history cardiovascular disease. Blood pressure been checked daily for months and is okay albeit sometimes elevated because of anxiety, heart rate is perfect, even got a ECG fitbit to check for afib every now and then and I'm apparentlt healthy but I dont feel healthy, I'm worried about this all the time. Quit weed out of fear. Quit alcohol out of fear. Seen people die of heart attacks or cardiac arrests while doing mundane things and it's scarier than any gore or horror videos.
How the frick do I stop being scared of shit all the time? It doesn't stop me from rooning or hiking but even seeing my heart rate go up makes me shit bricks.
10 ER visits so far and found 0 issues bros help
Congratulations, you're mentally ill
I'll take 10 mental illnesses over one heart disease and pay extra on top
No you really wouldn't, the anxiety you're allowing yourself to go through would probably make you more susceptible to heart issues in the long run, stressing about the heart issues is what will make them more likely to happen, shits fricked. Get yourself some help OP before the stress kills you.
Thanks for scaring me but I've noticed I've made some progress and not as scared as I was two years ago. Still, want it to be over quicker. I'm aware of stress playing a huge part so I'm removing other sources of it effectively (work, relationships, politics, etc)
Legit not trying to scare you and glad you're doing better. Just making it known that NOBODY wants the cortisol flood that comes with stress and anxiety, not only can it kill gains it can just kill you in general if you don't so something about it.
Thanks bro. I'll chill.
Really? This thing is fricking you over more then the actually heart disease would
But you don't have any heart disease. None. You're a passable troll (made me respond!), but all you're really doing is wasting everyone's time, including your own.
I see your point, but I wouldn't post this just to troll, there are better ways i suppose.
So did you accept this because you got it? Or you accepted this before you did?
do more cardio. pro bikers have a resting heart rate between 30-50 BPM. also, eat raw garlic, drink apple cider vinegar, and stop being a schizo
marinated garlic okay? That shit is delicios
I had the same problem
my Dr put me on an SSRI for severe anxiety, and I also started taking Ashwagandha and L theanine,
ruminations are completely gone lmao
(I also started lifting again)
Hey bud! Hypochondriac here. Sound like your mental illness is cool as frick. Enjoy being healthy as a un intentional side effect. Most crazy people subdue their stress with unhealthy habits. You are like Bizaro skitzo. You might not be able to take this advice because of your mental state but I found nicotine spray reduced paranoid delusions.
I don’t know if anyone has it but there’s a photo out there with a frog in a tuxedo drinking alcohol I think he says “reply to this post or your mom will die in her sleep tonight” that should help.
Good luck!
Hey fellow hypochondriac way ahead of you buddy I've been sucking on nicotine lozenges to quit smoking and that shit works
>5g internet rolls out
>seems like to many Gs
>take nicotine
>mmmmm perfect amount of Gs
>accidentally swallow the fluoride paste at the dentist
>seems like too much fluoride
>take nicotine
>mmmmmm perfect amount of fluoride
>take too much nicotine
>seems like to much nicotine
>take nicotine
>mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Statistically, you can't escape it. When you understand this, you won't worry about it.
>t. have heart disease
Stop eating cholesterol and you won't have to worry about it.
Speaking of stress, do you ever think of your perception of stress? It's not the stress that kills, but how you react to it.
It's literally ALL about mindset. Your interpretation of things is your entire worldview, regardless of whether or not it is factual or not. It's the reason religion is even a thing... some people choose to believe in a god and some don't, it has nothing to do with right or wrong but your PERCEPTION of what's right or wrong. Respond rather than react.
