How do I fall asleep under 5 mins? It takes me between 30-40 mins, and this since forever
I've sleepmaxxed (fixed sleep schedule, giving myself 9h of time in bed, good mattress) as much as I can and this is the last piece of the puzzle
Although I'm gonna admit I do stay on my PC until it's time, I have a blue light filter though

Stop asking for "advice" when you know what the problem is. You are wasting everyone's time
it doesn't help, I've already tried reading a book 1hr before bed and still took like 20-30 mins
>You are wasting everyone's time
browsing IST is a waste of time
Why don't you just go to bed 30-40 minutes before what would be required to hit your sleep goals? You should have realistic expectations of yourself, especially for things like sleep which intrinsically depend on some level of "letting go" cognitively.
Maybe accepting yourself for how you are is the real last piece of the puzzle.
>Why don't you just go to bed 30-40 minutes before what would be required to hit your sleep goals?
This is mostly why I make myself stay 9hrs in bed, to get atleast 8h of sleep, I'd just like to have 1 more hour to do things

Deep.
And I'd like two dicks. But here we are.
You don't need 8 hours, 7 is enough
morons thinking they can defy biology
If its solely by time in bed then 9 hours plus is how much I sleep. But that leaves me feeling exhausted when I wake up. I've done testing myself and found 6 hours or less is too little and more than 7 makes no difference.
Give fentanyl a try
Zinc in general Magnesium and Ashwagandha before bed.
Unironically weed. If you are a pussy then just take melatonin (it’s naturally in your brain so don’t freak out). Lights out in under 5 min.
Even with blue light filter, excess stimulation is problematic within 30-60mins of an intended bed time for many.

Don't expect to fall asleep immediately when youre still hitting the dopamine button until the moment you shut your eyes.
I used to have the same trouble. It wasn't until I gave up caffeine completely that I was able to fall asleep quickly at night and wake up not feeling like garbage.
I keep waking up every half hour to check my crypto wallet. I am going to try a quicker sleep tonight by playing elf girl bartender ASMR
>fall asleep like a log every single fricking night
>haven't slept longer than 6 hours in probably half a year
