Bros, whenever I do squats or any other leg exercise, I can never feel my quads and specifically never glutes. I think this is the reason I have bigger upper body as compared to lower, giving me weird proportions.

        You are probably stopping way before failure due to fatigue causing discomfort. Your legs can do more than think they can. Like Platz said, squats are hard, them being hard doesn't mean you are at failure.

            lol, that is why women fail at most everything. To get good at something, you either have to get a master to train you and/or buy some books.

            They can start by looking up youtuve summaries and going to the /strongcurves sub on reddit. Bret Contreras is where to start though. No reason to get bogged down in anything else.

    Weighted hip thrusts are the ONLY exercise that actually targets the glutes

    A 1 rep max squat can only activate the glutes about 35%

    Op, I have the same problem, my legs are like matches. But I also have a problem with my knees, so I can't lift heavy weights. What I deduced for myself from the Internet - all sorts of programs from calisthenics and blacks. Long jumps, box jumps, sprints, reverse walks with a cart.

    But in general - because I can not increase the weight, then a lot of work with sufficient intensity. Those not 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps, but 15-20+ reps with your weight for 10+ sets. Or squatting with jumps in the same volume.
