It's called the boxer's muscle for a reason. Exercises that move your shoulders forward. E.g. landmine presses, with a slight upward angle and really push your shoulders forward at the top of the movement.
You can also use an incline chest press machine, extend and lock your arms and just push your shoulders forward.
Maybe do the opposite of a shrug while on rings/ parallel bars.
I remember when I started working on a plannche it got sore a few times but it was because it was a novel stimulus I guess.
You don't have to isolate everything for it to grow. In my opinion dips and chin ups (posterior portion) "work" it the best but it should grow with any normal lifting routine regardless.
He’s still right though. Pullovers are what most of the golden era guys did for their serratus. I personally think decline pullovers are a lot better than flat bench, keeps the tension on the lats through a longer range of motion
Don’t isolate it, just do OHP
Is that really enough?
It's aesthetic as fuck
Side crunches. Go on the lower back crunch machine and lay on your side, then do a sit up.
Please explain how the muscle that pulls your scapular forward will lift your thorax laterally.
more importantly, why isolate the serratus anterior

None of you Zoomers have read Arnold’s encyclopaedia of bodybuilding and it shows
I mean this unironically and wholeheartedly: This has been debunked.

dumbbell OHP hits them the hardest for me. I put the back of my seat at a slight incline and raise my chest.
Scapular push ups. Also just do boxing/muay thai.
Lying arm extensions
You can't isolate it but the best exercises are anything involving overhead or incline presses.
>muscle who's purpose is to move shoulders forward
>50% of IST recommend vertical pushing exercises
You guys are all retarded and this thread is proof.
Decline pullovers are decent, scap handstand push-ups are really good, so are full range of motion one armed pushups
Pull-ups
