If someone ever tries to keg kick you just eat it and hit them in the head. Leg kicks make no sense. You have way more range to the body, and if you are so weak your leg can be caught you need to consider another hobby. Like if someone tried to leg kick me im stepping in and trying to slam my fist into their face as hard as I can, you CANNOT kick and be in the proper stance to punch(from kicking stance) without moving your head forward.
At a certain point more power is useless and it's about speed and range. Nobody with a decent squat with proper technique is gonna kick someone without incapacitating their opponent. 220-250 is the max for quickness. And imagine someone 220 with a 5pl8 squat nailing you in the hip with their heel, you're fricked after that.

It's like half a foot to a foot of difference between a knee kick and hitting something with your legs at 90 degrees. It's all about the front leg in kickboxing.
A better thing to do than leg kicking is stuffing a kickboxer with your leg while putting your weight forward and punching them. Instead of leg kicking a boxer I'm frickin sending some front and side kicks they just can't dodge it unless they're a kickboxer.

One thrown like a jab sure. Are you really so fricking good you can throw a back kick off the opponents front side kick? That's THE textbook counter because of how you move your head and how your body angles back.
You shouldn't throw kicks then try to follow up with a punch. You're way too fricking far away, or too close using your legs asking to get kod with a straight punch.

You either kick or you don't. If my opponent ever kicks me and I'm not done I'm moving in before they can square up. I can take a jab.
Gotta be 11/10 to land a jab with all your body before you get moved in on. Just like you need 100% faith in your kick doing damage to even throw it, otherwise you're fricked.
Hybrid front/side kick is the best for impromptu lunge kick. Gotta take a second to set up to hit with the heel anyways. Ball of the foot is for the front foot only or for Uber quick rear leg front kick.
If i wanna frick your day up I'm using my ass with the whole foot or heel. That's the essence of ending a fight in one kick. You can just step in on someone going for speed. Ever bring your leg up to block and stuff someone not going full power?
At this point Im convinced this poster is a ChatGPT bot.

Kick to the hips and lower stomach, not a "textbook" clambering up then going out straight aiming for the chest and shoulder. Use your body not your leg.

A front teep using the ball of your foot might as well be a jab unless you hit them in the face. Do that against someone jumping at your ass sending their heel through your chest.
That being said, a sliding front foot to the jaw is something I want to be able to hit reliably. Being able to hit someone accurately in the jaw with your front foot with no wind up is a great technique. You need literally 50% effort to knock them out. Also great for fighting opposite stance.

Yeah someone good at powerful kicks is gonna negate any kind of shit you think you're gonna do with anything but a side kick. You can only step in and out against it, and then the aggressor can put their foot down and do it gain.
That's why I like my sliding rear roundhouse straight at the opponent. You can use your front leg and jam their leg and end up with a rear cross and front hook off it.
Anonymous
>slide like 20-30 degrees away from your opponent >turn down and push your hips past them >twist your head all the way >bring your arms all the way and look to the floor
Your hands should just be the finisher after your kick puts them out on their feet. Any other roundhouse is too stationary and defensive after you learned how to use it to attack.

You're used to muay thai style. You get literally 50% power tops standing square. There is not any variation of the side kick in muay thai.
It's a different thing entirely when someone is so confident in their legs they stand with the karate stance so they can't answer either punches. They aren't worried about "what if I don't obliterate them?"
I'll take a wild guess you've never seen a jumping switch front kick with the front leg? That's short range for kickboxing.

Thai roundhouse is more powerful than a kickboxing round house. This isnt even debatable.

Yes there is, its called a side teep. Stop being clueless.

I use that to rear leg side kick. You can't slide with front kicks like side kicks. Opposite stance is high tier shit only and is why side kicks are superior. Battling over front leg superiority is a question of speed and technique which is why right leg forward is Chad stance.

Not the same as starting from a deep L stance. Starting from square torso means you don't hit nearly as hard as blatantly saying "I'm gonna hit you with my heel.
That being said, I prefer being able to jump/slide off my rear foot being slightly crouched down to hit a rear leg front or side kick. Can't do that off a deep L stance. You can front side kick them off it because of your leg "coming up" which is how you beat a kick to the punch.

Irl you don't have gloves to block. If you block it with your forearm/arm, your next punch with the other hand better end the fight. You ever been punched in the arm?
Irl it's the fastest one to hit to the head. Even a light fast jab will make you see lights.
Practice straight punches to open up. Also getting in close for body hooks and shit, also sliding into your first punch to get in to position so you can tee off like you were. It's usually kosher to start with a 1-2 or a sliding rear cross, getting uncomfortably close and square with the punch, then ending the fight with hooks.
Depends on how much space you have. Id still use it for mixing body and head punches. Bit it's useless for training a really heavy bag to strengthen your shit.
You want something impractically heavy so you can be strong enough to hit someone lunging at you on the top of the head as hard as you can.
>boxers take pride in hitting each other hard in the head during sparring
Literal Black folk. Go to any muay thai gym and try that shit, you'll br thrown on the ground so many times that you'll go home crying.
Theres nothing wrong with just wanting to lay into a heavybag and having no interest in actually training boxing.
Its a fun thing to do, good cardio, helps release built up stress and anger etc.
It can probably be compared to going to a firing range, hiring a gun, and just shooting at the target without really caring about marksmanship.
>"only my special snowflake fighting camps are correct! all MMA fighters have Gary Stu plot armor that allows them to shrugg off powerful blows from any non MMA person!"
>powerful blows >someone that isn't scared of repercussion
Can your opponent really hit you on top of the head with their hand without their wrist breaking? No they can't, learn muscle memory for when you actually get hit in the head. Stop being scared.

And imagine someone 220 with a 5pl8 squat nailing you in the hip with their heel, you're fricked after that.
leg kicks hurt and hobble. everything matters, but imo it's about that first strike and the power behind it for the W
Front and side kicks can easily be parried/caught by anyone with decent training experience.
Stop talking nonsense.
>You shouldn't throw kicks then try to follow up with a punch
Once again, you've clearly never trained in your life. Stop watching stupid karate/tkd videos on youtube.
Training by sparring is so different, hit a heavy bag as hard as you can and tell me it's impressive.
>Training by sparring is so different
You've obviously never sparred if you think you cant follow up kicks with punches. Jab-lowkick-hook is the most basic kickboxing combo there is.
>jumping back kicks your ass for getting too close for no reason
Infinite torque.
At this point Im convinced this poster is a ChatGPT bot.
You either kick or you don't. If my opponent ever kicks me and I'm not done I'm moving in before they can square up. I can take a jab.
Gotta be 11/10 to land a jab with all your body before you get moved in on. Just like you need 100% faith in your kick doing damage to even throw it, otherwise you're fricked.
>you CANNOT kick and be in the proper stance to punch(from kicking stance) without moving your head forward
Yes you can. Learn to kick properly.
>If someone ever tries to keg kick you just eat it and hit them in the head

>Nobody with a decent squat with proper technique is gonna kick someone without incapacitating their opponent
Arent you now contradicting what you said previously? Squats have nothing to do with kicking power. Being able to squat doesnt teach proper kicking technique. Stop talking nonsense.
They were within front side kick distance. You're in the fricking dNger zone and they're trying to box till the (I'm assuming Asian) dude gets the right idea.
Dude I'd fricking demolish so many muay thai practitioners it's not even funny. It's like trying to box from the karate stance.
Leg kick distance is not side kick distance, you simply dont have the room to step in or extend your leg. You've clearly never trained in your life.
You need to be 18 or over to post here.
Kick to the hips and lower stomach, not a "textbook" clambering up then going out straight aiming for the chest and shoulder. Use your body not your leg.
You lose half your power going for speed and "technique" rather than putting your shoulders and head behind it.
>kicking the hips
moron.
>t. Never been leg kicked
>never had someone's heel driven deep into their stomach
Which one you think hits from farther range? With the front leg up too.
If you're teeping you're far better hitting with the ball of your foot
t. Got teeped with the ball of the foot from a dude on our pro fight team. Felt like I'd been stabbed
My style is all based on being ballsy enough to go past someone's attack if it's not heavy enough to stop me. Front kicks "work" but aren't perfect kickboxing, which only works with someone really on some shit and practicing all day.
Also great for fighting opposite stance.
>face
just plant it into their gut at full fricking power
Yeah someone good at powerful kicks is gonna negate any kind of shit you think you're gonna do with anything but a side kick. You can only step in and out against it, and then the aggressor can put their foot down and do it gain.
That's why I like my sliding rear roundhouse straight at the opponent. You can use your front leg and jam their leg and end up with a rear cross and front hook off it.
>slide like 20-30 degrees away from your opponent
>turn down and push your hips past them
>twist your head all the way
>bring your arms all the way and look to the floor
Your hands should just be the finisher after your kick puts them out on their feet. Any other roundhouse is too stationary and defensive after you learned how to use it to attack.
Kicks can easily be blocked, what are you on about.
>You get literally 50% power tops standing square
Thai roundhouse is more powerful than a kickboxing round house. This isnt even debatable.
>There is not any variation of the side kick in muay thai
Yes there is, its called a side teep. Stop being clueless.
I use that to rear leg side kick. You can't slide with front kicks like side kicks. Opposite stance is high tier shit only and is why side kicks are superior. Battling over front leg superiority is a question of speed and technique which is why right leg forward is Chad stance.
%3D%3D
yeeeea those push kicks. but you dont have to do it from your side, just walk forward and plant
Best teep leaves your leg and opposite shoulder at full extension. Otherwise you should be sliding in and letting off to hit them in the face.
And that's exactly why he'll never be a pro
He trained his type 2b to the max, that's why he can dunk and smash for 10 seconds, but he gassed out. It takes decades to untrain and retrain that to type 2a. He's about as impressive as a bodybuilder in the sport of boxing. He'll get "wows" from morons like you though, I guess that's something.
he explicitly states in his video he isnt a pro, just doing heavy punches on the heavy bag.
why train all that fancy stuff when one or two heavy punches anywhere on your body will take someone out
>he isnt a pro
no shit. I already told you he isn't a pro just by watching him gas out that fast.
let's see his amateur fight videos, oh wait there is none cause he'll never be able to reach that due to his training methods.
the only thing a guy like that can do is join that slap contest thing and get brain damaged.
why are you talking about fighting? i just posted a video of a guy doing solid bag work. and honestly, he could probably take out a lot of UFC pros if he lands even one solid punch on their body.
>he could probably take out a lot of UFC pros if he lands even one solid punch on their body.
That shows how little you know about martial arts and sports combat.
A twink like omalley would kill him in MMA. Just dodge for a few seconds than literally kill him.
there's no way O'Malley is 135 lbs, first of all. and O'Malley obviously has tons of experience but if he got caught by even one punch on his body by video guy, hes done for.
O'Malley's true weight is probably like 170+.
>he could probably take out a lot of UFC pros if he lands even one solid punch on their body.
Nice "what if" you moron. If he could, then he would have and made millions. Yet he's a nobody on youtube for a reason. Goddamn you're stupid.
no, some people dont want to be pro fighters but enjoy demolishing the heavy bag with combos.
Cope more. Talk about more "what ifs"
>wahh he doesn't wanna be a millionaire
>but he could knock them out "if" he hits them!
You're literally a waste of time and a brainlet. I laugh at your grim dark future.
you're just arguing because you wanna. all over a video that somehow hurt your ego. its just a guy punching the bag really well, and this is offensive to you lol
Nothing hurt my ego. Seeing you argue that he can beat up pro fighters and hits harder than pro fighters when he's just hitting the bag was so cancerous I had to call you a massive moron. If he hits hard on a heavy bag and enjoys it, leave it like that. Don't be a cancerous troll.
im not the guy who brought up "he'll never be a pro!" in the first place. i only said that he could lay out a pro if he landed one solid punch anywhere on their body.
of course a pro would have far more MMA experience over a guy who enjoys punching a heavy bag as hard as he can and as fast as he can.
>i only said that he could lay out a pro if he landed one solid punch anywhere on their body.
That's being a cancerous troll you fricking moron. Boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA are highly skill based combat. You're only proving that you know nothing about combat sports.
thats not trolling. skill can help you avoid getting hit, but i said he could lay out a pro if he landed a solid punch anywhere on their body.
whether he does is on him, but if he does, yea i can see him mangling a pro fighter.
So you admit you're either a cancerous troll or just a worthless moron.
>hurrdurr only i can be right
its time for vidya
Irl you don't have gloves to block. If you block it with your forearm/arm, your next punch with the other hand better end the fight. You ever been punched in the arm?
Irl it's the fastest one to hit to the head. Even a light fast jab will make you see lights.
I could kick that bag so it lifts off the harness, it's not 300lbs.
it might be heavier than 300 lbs, that bag is fricking thick.
Practice straight punches to open up. Also getting in close for body hooks and shit, also sliding into your first punch to get in to position so you can tee off like you were. It's usually kosher to start with a 1-2 or a sliding rear cross, getting uncomfortably close and square with the punch, then ending the fight with hooks.
i like how he goes low to high to low without missing a beat in his combo. i wanna practice that.
>I don't condone violence against women
Oh, you're gay? Didn't mean to attack you for your sexuality
Go to any muay thai gym and try that shit, you'll br thrown on the ground so many times that you'll go home crying.
you're the baby who was crying about the video i posted huh? you have such an ego probably for no reason.
>tfw chad in the gym but hits just as hard during an actual fight
Why? Why be like this?
why do heavy bagwork? because:
1. great cardio and muscle workout
2. develop hard fists for punching if ever needed
3. develop greater bone density
Who are you talking to?
i dont know anymore. the guy who got threatened by the guy i posted in the video and immediately started talking about he'll never be a "pro"
Paint it black
Theres nothing wrong with just wanting to lay into a heavybag and having no interest in actually training boxing.
Its a fun thing to do, good cardio, helps release built up stress and anger etc.
It can probably be compared to going to a firing range, hiring a gun, and just shooting at the target without really caring about marksmanship.
THANK YOU, yes.

>"only my special snowflake fighting camps are correct! all MMA fighters have Gary Stu plot armor that allows them to shrugg off powerful blows from any non MMA person!"
>powerful blows
>someone that isn't scared of repercussion
Can your opponent really hit you on top of the head with their hand without their wrist breaking? No they can't, learn muscle memory for when you actually get hit in the head. Stop being scared.
big dudes should train their power front heel kicks. like the Big Sexy K Nash kick but aimed at their core.
>get biggest green lightsaber you can find at walmart
>while you're there, get a matching set of flywheel dart pistols (semi auto mag fed >>>)
>put on bicycle helmet with blonde wig taped to the back to make a massive ponytail
>larp as zero for 6 hours beating the shit out of it while listening to MMX/MMZ ost
there. problem solved
This actually sounds like a good night. Maybe tripping hard on mushrooms.
Have you tried blasting this while training?
HAH!HWA!HWUH! IT'S NOT OVER YET!
Buy a cobra bag they are more enjoyable and better for hand eye.
I prefer hitting women
learn to side step then strike
