How do I milkmax when I'm lactose intolerant? I've seen stuff about basedmilk having good protein and shit but I don't really trust it. I love the taste of milk but man it ruins the rest of my day...

    I can't drink pasteurized milk, but raw milk and kefir is fine. I also make thin yogurt for snacks and smoothies.

    Get lactose free milk anon. Same everything as milk, just no lactose. It also lasts longer instead of spoiling after 4 days like lactose filled milk. Oatmilk and the other fake ones typically have less protein.

    They make lactose free Greek yogurt too. Kefir won't hurt you. Hard and aged cheeses are fine, too.

    Lactose intolerance is a social illness. All you have to do is start with 1oz with a meal and slowly ramp it up and your body will produce lactase again. This is why Indians tolerate it despite being "genetically" weak to dairy. There's even studies with blacks confirming this works in less than 4 weeks. I did it myself, from not even tolerating 8oz to a full GOMAD in a month.

    Lactose intolerance is a vegan myth. Literally every case I hear about people "getting the shits" do something stupid like no dairy for 15 years then they try to GOMAD in one day.

    Maybe it's because I live on the liberal west coast, but lactose free milk has been readily available. My friends tell me the ultra-filtered stuff is quite good too. The lactaid pills work for me, but they're quite inconvenient.

    raw milk. has lactase that breaks down the lactose. adapt slowly, half a cup a day, each day half a cub more. heat treated milk should not even be called milk, it is a totally different thing.
