force yourself, push harder, do it with others, track your effort and progress, reward yourself, do it consistently. After a while you get hooked and it is hard to stop
Open an interpals account. A bunch of cute Russian girls will look at your profile but never message you. So to get messages for them you need a picture flexing your IST body. It worked for me.
Have your dad call you fat in a really condescending way. Worked for me. I mean, I had the motivation already and had started, but I won't be forgetting his worried contempt in a while.
Honestly, I am thankful. A lot of people say I dont look bad because the clothes hide my obesity really well.
If you work out at a public gym, just push yourself to travel to gym each session. Once you reach there you'll be motivated to complete your workout since you're already there, might as well.
If you’re think of watching that show; don’t, it’s very, very repetitive. If you insist, just watch the first season, the quality goes down gradually as they run out of ideas. The style of the anime also decreases gradually with cost-cutting measures.
If you do this workout today & you keep on that path, what will you feel like in 2 months, a year?
I often struggle to get back right but, this time I said, "I can give anything an honest 3 months of trying".
That time will pass either way but, I can focus on getting healthy and we'll see what the difference is in 12 weeks.
12 weeks have passed and I already look & feel so much younger. I'm not hurting nearly as much. I can move and participate in my life again.
So now, my motivation is to keep feeling this good and figure out how to get even better.
So, "what will I feel like after a year of this?"....try it out.
Stop looking for motivation because it's not going to get you anywhere. I dread going to the gym and having to go and train jiu jitsu because it's uncomfortable and painful. When I get there I start enjoying myself because I've done it for so long, but I still have to fight those demons in my head that want me to be safe and comfortable. I do it because I have a vision in my head of what I want to become. Routine and habit helps too but that only comes in time.
You create a goal, and you fricking do it or you don't.
Inspiration is fleeting bullshit, motivation is boring as frick but your capacity to motivate yourself will increase the more you do it. So I would say, if it's a struggle, try to lower the friction between you and the good behavior to make the behavior easier (e.g. if you want to go to the gym in the morning but are tired, set up your things the night before while you have energy) but otherwise it's "just do it" until just doing it isn't that hard. I don't like brushing my teeth but I do it twice a day because I've always done it, it's second nature at this point and I don't waste energy making a decision about it.
just lift
Learn to do things you're not motivated to do. You don't have to want to do it, you just have to do it.
Based

If you can't find inner motivation, how do you expect strangers to motivate you through advice?!
OP is attention seeking dyel

dont, just do it
do you need motivation to brush your teeth?
>do you need motivation to brush your teeth?
yes
I am not a bot who just follows his routine file
motivation is for children, you need discipline
Trying to explain this to people irl. If it’s part of your routine work->gym->home and it’s not a decision you make. You just do it on autopilot.

Whenever I don’t feel like doing something I know I should do, I just say to myself
>frick you, do it now
And then I just do it
>Discipline
>Hate yourself so much you do it out of guilt
Pick one. Discipline is better though.
>Hate yourself so much you do it out of guilt
you mean this isn't normal...?
>motivate
you don't have fun exercising?
scrub
