How do I regain clarity of Mind?

I got fibro. A chronic pain condition. It affects my ability to focus due to nerve pain, and gives me chronic fatigue through that.

It's like walking through a Mind Fog every day. So, I'd like some advice on how to counter it. How to get a proper clarity of mind, so I can work on my creative endeavors and focus. (I'm very scatter shot and exhausted all the time.)

Like anything I should take (Seen people recommend Dopa Mucuna for ADHD), or any changes in habit I should make?

I drink one hard cup of coffee a day (Latte, Full Cream Milk, 2 sugar, 3 shots. it's fairly big). I try to keep that as my only caffeine, but if I don't have anything my entire day's even slower than normal.

I do attend the gym regularly now. About twice a week for an hour at least.
I walk every day, into and out of town.

So, any tips?

    >huperzine A
    >cacao powder (for theobromine, magnesium, etc. 2-3 tbsp)
    >creatine
    >l-theanine (doesn't do a ton on its own but it's great with caffeine)
I've tried a lot of shit and these have had the most noticable effects. Also eat lots of eggs for choline, fatty fish for omega 3 (supplement it if you're poor but ideally you would just eat real food), red meat for other micros (B vitamins, carnitine, carnosine, zinc, iron, etc), and obviously fruits/vegetables. Meditate as well

Might be forgetting some shit because this is all off the top of my head but I hope this helps regardless

Got it, I'll try that onto of whatever the other folks around here suggest.
I'll eat a wienertail of insanity if it allows me to finally get out of this mind fog hell.

I'll see if I can remember anything else. Also don't take huperzine A every day, it has a half-life of like 14 hours so I suggest you take something like 200mcg every other day. As for eggs I think 4-6+ is good, most people are highly deficient in choline which is important for brain function so please make sure to eat enough eggs since the only foods that have a good amount of choline are eggs and liver
        >vitamin D3 (extremely important, most people are deficient in this since no one goes outside anymore. even though I don't do it personally out of laziness you should take it with vitamin K2)
        >raisins/apricots/avocados/almonds for boron (dunno how much they'll help, but it might help a bit since most people are boron-deficient. they're tasty anyway)
        >ashwagandha (might help a bit with energy, helped my sleep a bit as well I think. Most noticeable thing is that it nuked my emotions so if you don't want that then skip this shit lmao, the other effects are much more minor. Not necessary IMO)

Can't cacao powder have a shit ton of metals in it?

If you mean iron/potassium/magnesium then yes but you want those, if you mean shit that you don't want like cadmium I think it depends on where it gets produced

        Uh, good question.
I hope not. I don't wanna be eating a bunch of random fricking metals like an idiot.

Yes, cacao can have a considerable amount of lead and cadmium (and other heavy metals) because it is a natural accumulator in the same way that tea is with fluoride. The brand that I've found with the least lead and cadmium is "Pure Natural Miracles," which is grown in Ecuador.

Not him but AFAIK it only contains lead if it's sourced from africa, and even then it that's due to poor manufacturing processes. At least this is what I think from the research I've done

They have a tendency to accumulate lead regardless of where they're sourced from because it's a chemical property of cacao shells (i.e. if cacao shells are exposed to environments with lead, they will accumulate it). You're right that there's more lead in cacao from Africa, but it's not a problem that's unique to Africa.

How much lead do they accumulate though is the real question, and how much cacao can you consume before it becomes a concern? Inverted U curve and all that, every food has pros and cons.

                Good question

Kind of a tough question to answer. If you're not ingesting a lot of the worst chocolates or cacao powders then it will probably be hard to reach what would be considered toxic levels in the body. However, because we know that lead is both hard for the body to get rid of and contributes to things like Alzheimer's when present at sub-toxic levels, it's better to err on the side of caution.

              Okay that’s not so bad.

fibromyalgia is a fake diagnosis in lieu of having any idea of what to make of what's really going on. Also every single person I've ever know with fibromyalgia was fat. Every single one.

Low dose naltrexone. In the 1-5mg dose range it acts as a TLR4 inhibitor. No side effects.

Let's try to get you a real diagnosis for a treatable condition - do you have any symptoms other than nerve pain, chronic fatigue, and trouble thinking clearly?

Stomach issues seem quite frequent. Mostly burning from eating food. I also pass blood a lot, need iron pills. Apparently inflammation somewhere in the bowel. But this pain and fatigue had been around since year 11. Crashed my course due to it

Okay, first of all, you need to stop taking iron pills. They are likely making your GI inflammation worse (read here: https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/iron-dangers.shtml) and impeding the absorption of necessary vitamins.

You could try starting with the gut and developing better flora to see how that changes things. There's a chance you've developed ulcers and/or some kind of perforation (e.g. "leaky gut"). If you can afford it, try BioGaia's Gastrus pills along with a prebiotic of some sort (indigestible fiber, cellulose) like grated carrots.

You should also try glycine for your peripheral neuropathy, though all of this probably comes down to a metabolic disorder of some sort.

Tell yourself " I am healthy, I don't feel x pain" every day until it stops
    Or do drugs.
    Or do nothing.
