They frame the shoulders and give the appearance of a more muscular shoulder area. Someone with big traps and lats will still be called someone with big shoulders even when their delts are lacking by everyone who isn't a gymrat who knows better
If you have big traps but your delts are lacking you will look like shit and your shoulders will look rounded. You don't need to hit traps if you're doing OHP
Never had much interest in basedball, but I started watching some WBC highlights and have to say it's pretty kino. Good physique on those athletes too, was not expecting that.
Used to think it would be impossibly difficult given my genetics but it's really not too hard. If you get strong-ish on deadlifts, bench, and OHP, and have a good diet, you'd make some good shoulder gains if you're a newbie. Maybe doesn't apply to everyone but sure did work for me.

3. stand with your back to the pulley, lat bar between your legs, pull it up like an anterior raise
