How do I stop obsessing over the fact that I started getting into fitness relatively much later than everyone else? (22). I've just spent most of my life sedentary and skinnyfat

doesn't matter you look like a teenager to actual adults until you're 30 anyway
?t=159
I'm 28, 60 kg and started lifting a few months ago. If I eat right and continue pushing my body, I will look very good by 30. Most people in their 30s look like shit, so it's never too late.
I started at 28 as a 100kg sack of shit. Now I'm 30 and look good at 70kg. good luck
This. As long as you stay consistant over the decades, you will mog 99% of your age group. Thats what i'm aiming for
(Btw most 20yo look like shit too)
I started a couple months before turning 30. It was a great decision, wish I had done it sooner.
lol no way that is ryan gosling, is that an edit
he's getting old and is in denial. kind of sad honestly
looks normal here
It's literally just sharpened. Go watch the barbie movie trailer in anything better than 1080p and you'll see he's getting old and wrinkley as frick, even with hollywood magic coverup
this is what happens when you don't apply sunscreen daily
should have taken the sunscreen pill
He's becoming israeli again.

Thank god, can’t have literally me being a member of the tribe
How is 22 too late Lmao
It's much later than most people go to the gym, which is like 16 or 15
people that go to the gym at 16 or 15 without guidance from a family member play hopscotch cluelessly and make 0 progress, this is cope
I imagine most had dumbbells or access to apartment or school gym.
15/16 year olds don't go to the gym
If they do it's a very small number of them and they don't do anything
Why do you give a frick
In what world? The bottom 20% of my gym in terms of age are under 20 with the solid majority, 60% maybe even 65%, being aged 20-34.
Lmao, what? Shut the frick up and just work harder.
And smart, always smart. Don't want to injure yourself.
>22
it’s over LOL LOSER imagine not starting at 5 LMAO FRICKING IDIOT DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DID DIE DJE DIE DIE DIEND IDEENDJDJF FFJFJFJF ZXXXDDDDD LOOOOOOOLL
If you really lift hard and eat right you can make up the lost time and still be jacked by 23/24 which is still excellent
because this feeling will never escape you if you dont start until you give up on yourself completely
>22
>later than everyone else
Not really
god leftism makes you so fricking ugly
false.
I saw that guy trying to work a punching bag and I can't take you people posting him as some sort of envy-bait seriously. He is legitimately disabled and if he succeeded in life in some way despite that, that's admirable.
>if he succeeded in life in some way
He's the nephew of the young turks guy who gave him a career basically
The turkroach is a former fat frick who lost a bunch of weight but still has the mindset of a fat frick.
grifter or steroid user, or both? only time will tell
Hasan has a shit physique
shooped
oh no no
I don/t get it, he's just walking.
What's happening here?
He always was ungly, even when he was an edgy dipshit
>later than everyone else
most people never so that's impossible
>22
it over
may as well kys now anon, you're practically geriatric
looks like one of those uncanny mr incredibles
>(22)
sorry OP but it's over, you're too old to bother trying to change at this point
jeff fungus lookin ass
You didn't. I'm 52. I went through some 'oh it's too late for me I wasted my youth uwu' for about a month but as I started noticing gains and intending my workout I stopped worrying about it.
>literal grandfather age
>posting on IST
Frick you really are here forever
Get over yourself. Why does it matter when you started? Finish the puzzle, jackass
It's an honor and a privilege to have to work harder than everyone else to make gains. There are people who are smarter, faster, and stronger than you, no matter when you start/finish.
These are self-aware wastes of time everyone should just ignore.
(OP that is). Frick him.
A lot of people hit a plateau at some point, so it makes no difference in the end of the day.
I worked out between 16~19 years old and looked like garbage, them I stopped working out during the pandemic and got back to my lifting routine the start of this year at 22. I am currently doing my best lifting progress in my life, Benching 205lbs on the incline for 6 reps while my max at 17~ was a 135lbs bench for 10 reps.
>22
>relatively late
stfu. you have 60 good years ahead of you to get in shape. and to be honest I think your assessment of late is innacurate. I believe the majority only get fit or start to think about their health between 25-30 when their body can't keep up with a shitty lifestyle any longer and they begin to reach age milestones. in summary shut the frick up and lift.
Fella, I didn’t start lifting til I was 30. You’re still getting in early. Get over it.
I'm 34 and only started last year.
Shit sucks.
But it gets better.
22? stop crying zoomer this isn't even late. oooh i've never had a girlfriend and i'm 22 should i kys, oooh i'm an obese degen at 24 it's over. yeah it is if you think so. god i hate doomer incels.
I wonder how much of it is in our heads? I feel blackpilled some days, but short of late 30s, there’s plenty of time to make it. I’m 22 and can bench right around 2pl8lmao at 170 ish, and I still feel ngmi.
Is this necessary right now if you live low stress and barely go out in the sunlight (and also not white, tho with relatively light skin)? Feels like a hassle to get a tret prescription so young, although I think that might help my acne a bit.
lousy blackpill thread. the past is over any day/age you start is a good day.
You're later than some, but you're still young enough to see quick gains. You're way sooner than many others, and who cares when you started? What, are you going to not lift because some broccoli zoomer started at 15?
Just lift, brah
Dont let this be something you base your whole identity on. Ive been at this for almost ten years and im still pretty shit at it.
Ohh that’s y he simps for pedos
OP you phag, it doesnt matter. I started at 30, before that all I did was a lot of chinups in my teens, and pushups.
simulate puberty by blasting test e + tren
Is that Vaish?
Unless you plan on being elite/pro level at some specific sport it doesn't matter at all.
dont be insecure anon, i was a fat slob at 30 and im about to turn 32. People at my age truly look like really bad and old. I will kill to have your age, enjoy the time and the peak metabolism
Looks like a lesbian
22 is young af dumbass. And while the best day to start getting fit was yesterday, the second best day is today.
I started at 21 and get stopped in the street for my physique and have been accused of roiding (lifetime natty).
>22
You're just in time to start your lifting journey. Most (99%) of guys after 30 look like complete shit.
That being said, if you don't have a solid lifting base by 30 (same goes for your career), then you're most likely NGMI.
>How do I stop obsessing over the fact that I started getting into fitness relatively much later than everyone else?
By knowing there is somebody out there who didn't get into fitness until their 30s. Me, for example.
I have been starting and stopping since I was 15 years old and Its been 10 years hahaha but recently, about 2 years ago I started again but chill, no pressure just do something and Its the longest I ve been without stopping.
As someone who has done the shit of going to the gym all in supplements, lifting heavier each session until failure and then stopped going after 4-6 months, just dont.
OR IF YOU DO, and the time comes when you dont feel like going to the gym because you feel weak/numbers arent improving, just go to the gym, LIGHT WEIGHTS,some cardio, go back home.
Just dont stop going and dont eat like shit.
At your age, starting an anti-aging skincare routine is more important and will be more useful in the long run. Unless you're ok with only fricking 25+ year old women.
>fat guy with perfect hairline shaves his beard
Why do they always look like lesbians?
I started lifting at 31 now I'm 34 and both young girls and milfs say I look 28 and in shape.
I can't push myself too far because I'm a 190cm lanklet with monkey arms and the ROM of certain lifts kills my shoulders. Besides this, I have never felt better in my life, and i do spend 8 hr a day sitting in an office.
there's a pretty easy way to stop obsessing about it:
Step 01) Take the self pity wiener out of your mouth
Step 02) Take the woe is me dick out of your ass
Step 03) refrain from putting the wiener back into your throat as soon as it's taken out.
Step 04) refrain from taking the dick back into your worm infested colon as soon as it's taken out.
Step 05) Realize that reaching 80% of your peak lifting goals only requires 3 years of non-stop lifting progression. You're not early, but you're not as late as you think you are either. Get to lifting, eating and sleeping. You demoralized homosexual.
Is this real? Because he looked fine with no beard before.
Leftism causes epigenetic deterioration. Even good genes become worse when they're infected with the "never improve" mindset
I remember going to the gym at like 18, went for 2 months then stopped for basically 7 years, wish I didn't stop but I was a poorgay at the time and went unemployed so I couldn't really afford it, I was also a vidya addict.
I got back at 25 and been going for 6 months now. It's kinda crazy when I look back at it and now I understand when people say the brain only fully develops at 25+. I'm planning catch-up game now but oh well, it is what it is.
It's never too late. Keep on grinding brother. Consistency is key
What? Bro, i literally started 2 years ago doing some calisthenics. I'm soon gonna turn 25 and i'm in the best shape of my life. Recently hit 115 kg bench press. Most people start taking fitness seriously in their early 20s anyways. I was doing some gym on and off in highschool aswell, but nothing serious. Chill the frick out and go to the gym brah.
Workout hard and more often to make up for it.
