Because you are extremely fat lol . You have barely any muscle mass you just got used to lifting heavier and could thanks to all the food. Benching that much and being fat means zero

          Anonymous

as much as i hate fatties, this is cope, lol
adipose tissue generates absolutely zero force, the only direct benefit of fat is that it might reduce the ROM on certain lifts by obstructing the movement path
i assure you, despite being fat and strong, his muscle mass is still generating the force
eating lots of food provides maximum glycogen and ATP for performance during the session, and maximum recovery between sessions, but makes you fat
there is nothing else to it

you assume i'm a coping fatty, when in reality, all i'm saying is that the extra food he ate that clearly made him fat, also enhanced the strength output potential of his currently-existing muscle mass, by providing maximal amounts of ATP and glycogen
the extra protein from the food also enhanced his recovery ability, assuming he ate less protein before he bulked
he did develop his strength by eating lots of food, but the actual fat tissue on his body that the food created, does not directly generate any force

He has no muscle mass coping lardy. Muscles don't need to grow to lift heavy hence the twigs benching 200 plus lbs. Learn how anything works and what your cns does lol

              >Muscles don't need to grow to lift heavy
is true, but once the upper limits of an individual's strength potential, relative to their size, is met, then their strength progress will slow down severely unless they build more muscle
the easiest way to build more muscle, if one is already training correctly, is to eat more food, as the extra food will enhance both performance in the gym, and the rate of recovery (and thus, growth) from each session

i'm really not sure what point is trying to be argued by you two?
if you think his strength is unimpressive because he's fat, that's one topic
but to act like eating lots of food and getting fat is somehow a magical process that makes you stronger with zero explanation, is very silly

you said he's strong because he's fat, and i explained how rather he's fat because he eats for maximal growth during recovery, and for maximal glycogen replenishment

this is a pedantic waste of time

Litterally just start moving in someway. Doesnt matter what or how, lifting, rowing, treadmill, cycle, walk. Just develop a routine of moving so it becomes normalized, and youre going to want to keep it simple so it so youre better able to retain it daily. Once you have a habitualized routine going start targeting your diet. Caloric restriction, intermittent fasting and 36+ hour fasts. Then you add from there. Create a baseline of minimum exercise and diet practices that your more easily able to retain. That might be walking daily and caloric deficit eating and add to that with more exercise and dietary practices. The bulk of your weight loss will be from diet alone.

Gotta lose like 30-40 lbs. Just do a few prolonged fasts (several days long at a time) while lifting every day to get light stimulation. Do low intensity steady state cardio (LISS) for as long as you can to burn calories without wrecking your muscles. You'll lose pure fat. Go no longer than 10 days no food at a time. Cycle between fasting. For every day you fast, do a day of maintenance when you're done fasting. 5 days fasted = 5 days maintenance afterward. One of those days must be extremely high calories to prevent metabolism crash. These extremely high calorie days only need to be done at least once every 7 days. You don't need a high calories day if you fast for 2 days and maintenance for 2 days. 2 + 2 = 4. Add 2 days fasting and a high calorie day on day 7 +1 maintenance day on day 8. The rest of the days are maintenance with very very high protein. Ideally 0 carbs so that you stay in ketosis the entire time and transition back to a fast easily. Rest on eating days. So it would look something like this...

    >7 days fasting while lifting to maintain muscle + LISS
    >Day 1 refeed, eat 4000 calories and rest
    >6 days maintenance 0 carb high protein and rest
    >4 days fast + lifting + LISS
    >Day 1 refeed 4000 calories and rest
    >3 days maintenance and rest
    >6 days fast + lift + LISS
    >Day 1 refeed 4000 calories + rest
    >5 days maintenance + rest

If you can tolerate doing LISS for a very very long time each day, then you could burn an extra pound of fat every day. Then you'd also burn about 0.6 lbs of pure fat from your bmr. You'll also lose about 12 lbs of water right off the rip in the first week or so.

    40 (initial) - 12 (water) = 28 lbs
28 lbs/1.6lbs per day = 17.5 days of fasting if you can manage to burn 3600 calories extra per day through LISS.

That's three 5 day fasts and a 2.5 day fast. Very easy to do. Will take more time but will be easier without doing LISS. 46 days total without LISS using only bmr anywhere from 17.5-46 days with fasting is possible
