THere's an old middle eastern guy that sits on a wooden chair out the front of his house and he waves hello every time I go running. He doesn't speak english and I don't speak his language. But his smile warms my heart every time and i give him a hearty hello as well. I change my running route from time to time but I always go down his street.
It’s best to knock this kind of anxiety bullshit off ASAP. That’s why I always recommend running outside. It’s like exposure therapy.
