Traveling is only really fulfilling if you have some sort of mission or goal that is the primary focus of the journey apart from actually traveling. Traveling just to travel and sightseeing is just a luxury and nothing more. It doesn't actually provide any fulfilment or personal development especially if its a 1st world nation you are visiting.

This guy is such a colossal homosexual. Travelling is for morons who can't entertain or educate themselves and need to constantly move to achieve a feeling of "going somewhere" (they can't do it cerebrally or emotionally). Travelling and tourism do nothing for 99% of people except make them even more annoying, either to locals wherever they happen to be or to their friends and family when they bore them to death by explaining where they went to (and learned nothing of value because travelling today is just a series of checkpoints and not about the journey at all).

Not traveling is for autists (morons) who can only entertain themselves from their bedrooms and 'educating' themselves on wikipedia. They cannot move or put themselves in a new experience without having a mental breakdown and must have their routine-safety nets. They cannot immerse themselves emotionally into a new experience, or bond with people (lack cerebal and emotional cognition due to poorly developed autist brain). Travellling and tourism is one of the worlds biggest industries and 99% of people seek it out in some way or another, if they can logistically and financially afford to do so, and locals in many developing nations flock to tourist places for better livelihoods and to learn of these other lifestyles that the tourists live. People who think traveling is not a journey, and just a series of check points (you; autists et al) are too smooth brained and low iq to understand this or empathise with another human who may relay such a story to you.

Either than or you're a brownoid third worlder who is butthurt that white people enjoy their countries for cheap holidays and frick their women/men.

Okay seething touristgay, I'll break it down
          >from their bedrooms
I travel, except I drive my car to the city which is 15 minutes away or I take my bike to the fields or go for a walk in the forest behind my street. I don't need to go to Japan or Brazil or France to be a homosexual.
          >'educating' themselves on wikipedia
          I read books, try again.
          >safety nets
Yeah you're really brave flying a commercial airplane to some gentrified shithole and staying in a hotel and taking buses to see some monuments. Real gangsta shit.
          >new experience, or bond with people
You can do all of these things in your own local area, city, or country.
          >Travellling and tourism is one of the worlds biggest industries
And? It's also one of the biggest contributors to polluting the planet and commodifying or destroying local cultures.
          >People who think traveling is not a journey, and just a series of check points
Because it is. People go to some place to visit a bunch of hotels, restaurants, museums (all of which cater to mass tourism), maybe a few monuments and that's it.
          >low iq
Yeah it's really big brain high IQ shit to travel, which is what the majority of people who can afford it do to escape their empty and mundane life and work. Really need a lot of effort and brainpower to do it, that's why every major city is infested with massive groups of annoying American, Spaniard, and Chinese tourists. You really figured that one out.
          >Either than or you're a brownoid third worlder

Sushi, sashimi and other dishes like tartare are one of the few socially accepted exceptions.

this shit is so fricking stupid, i love sushi as much as any pretentious homosexual but i draw the line at being a fricking homosexual about if people like to drench their sushi in soi sauce and wasabi. its totally fine to like soi sauce and wasabi on your sushi, or to mix them together as a dipping sauce.

its fine to use your fingers, its fine to use chop sticks.

frick, i once saw a guy eat sushi with a fork and knife and i was grinning the whole time at the sheer audacity, it didn't even make eating the sushi easier, it was completely moronic.

people who get uptight about that kind of thing are too attached so what at the end of the day is simply delicious food.

I'm traveling to Japan later this year, and now my algorithm has been filled with travel tips and shit for the country. Some are good and useful. But so many are filled with pretentious fricks telling you all the things you "shouldn't do" when in Japan! Like wtf is going to happen?

DO NOT EAT WHILE WALKING!!! Japanese people think this is rude!
And many other similar stupid customs.

The majority of people who travel go to gentrified shitholes where they buy shit that they don't need, needlessly polluting the planet for their stupid escapism. These people learn nothing and don't grow as people, all of this just feeds their already massive ego or gives them a break from their pathetically mundane life and work. If it was fulfilling in any way, they wouldn't feel the need to do it every year or as soon as they can afford it. Travelling is stupid, tourism is damaging, and museums and art exhibitions are a scam. Bourdain travelled all his life and yet that didn't help him from being a massive homosexual and killing himself because of a woman.

So why does nearly everyone Upper middle class and above travel? People with shitty lives can't afford to travel in comfort and people with good lives travel because they can and because breaks from routine are healthy. I've never met someone who has never been anywhere who has a good understanding of the world or anything else really.

I would love to see liberals cope with the fact that the only people who act like this are Black folk. It's not Joe Blow who works 12 hours a day in the investment firm, it's Jamaraquis Washington fricking around because he's an unemployed loser.

this shit is so fricking stupid, i love sushi as much as any pretentious homosexual but i draw the line at being a fricking homosexual about if people like to drench their sushi in soi sauce and wasabi. its totally fine to like soi sauce and wasabi on your sushi, or to mix them together as a dipping sauce.

its fine to use your fingers, its fine to use chop sticks.

frick, i once saw a guy eat sushi with a fork and knife and i was grinning the whole time at the sheer audacity, it didn't even make eating the sushi easier, it was completely moronic.

people who get uptight about that kind of thing are too attached so what at the end of the day is simply delicious food.

ok I don't know anything about anything, but when I was in a sushi place in japan, a fat 50 something Japanese guy came over to me after watching me eat and with the help of the younger woman who had been drinking with him and laughing at everything he said, told me that I needed to take the fish, swipe it through the onions sauce, and then eat it. said that's how you eat sushi and I've taken him at his word. that webm is moronic because sushi doesn't come "sauced". there's a reason they give you a bowl of sauce.

I'm a big fan of sushi but goddamn, there comes a point where you have to remember it's just fricking food and you're allowed to enjoy it your own way. Especially if you're a paying customer - you get paid the same whether I eat the sushi like a zen master or dump it on the floor, get a fricking life.

Also I read once that the wasabi-sauce slurry is the authentic way to use wasabi, no Japanese would smear wasabi straight onto the sushi? I mean, Western wasabi is just coloured horseradish anyway, so it remains a moot point

I've worked/owned restaurants for years. the juice isn't worth the squeeze for anything in the entire industry including being a customer. it's nice we can eat nice food and that people can pour themselves into something, but I don't buy into any of it. the industry of it all is ridiculous, but so is most things.

Compulsive travelers are often trying to fill a void. Case in point is Anthony “The Cuck” Bourdain. If you are not western and at least upper middle class, drugs and alcohol would fill the same void.

Travelling and vacations are escapism. If your life is already good enough you don't need to escape it. Running away from your shitty life won't make it any better. Maybe you'll get perspective but you can get that at home for nothing.

So why does nearly everyone Upper middle class and above travel? People with shitty lives can't afford to travel in comfort and people with good lives travel because they can and because breaks from routine are healthy. I've never met someone who has never been anywhere who has a good understanding of the world or anything else really.

Realistically you won't have consistent access to gyms - consistency being the most important factor

The key is to already be fit when you begin, and then just do push ups and eat clean. You'll pretty much maintain your muscle mass. It's very easy to maintain muscle, once you have it muscle is not easily lost (unless you were roiding but stop)
Getting a good physique is the hard part but once you have it, it's genuinely piss easy to maintain

You don't. Your size maybe, your performance no. I find if I fly anywhere, just being on the plane fricks me up. I signed up to the gym the day after I get there and my strength is already down 5-10%. If I stay home I can sit on my ass for like 2 weeks before experiencing the same thing.

Travelling has been and still is a white persons endeavour.

Pasty white and first world, cope and seethe.
In conclusion, you're a stupid homosexual.

      >I am contented in riding a bike 15 mins to the same place (which suits my autism), therefor you shouldn't want to see different environments or want to experience different locations!
      >Heh, using the internet or experiencing the thing for real? How about you just read a book by a person who did those experiences *tips fedora*
      >you're real real brave climbing mountains in the isolated regions of the south-eastern sahara, with only 2 bedouin men and hundreds of miles from civilisation!!
      >you can meet people in your own city or town, never mind maybe wanting to meet people anywhere else, that is surely a wrong thing to do!!!
      >noooo the heckin' polluterinnooo! Look how I care little about understanding other cultures, but also for some reason care about them. Its definitely not because I'm a selfish little closet racist who only cares about his own!
      >people go to visit a few places and monuments, people definitely don't go to different places ever, or try different travel experiences-no! They only do these things that I say they do, grrr!!
I can chalk up the prior and rest of your post to being: 'The ramblings of a boring and angry autist; or, why I hate others having fun'.

Resistance bands. Theyre very protable, and with a door anchor and a bar that can be disassembled or some handles you can do quite a bit. Heavier bands can give you hundreds of pounds of resistance under tension.

By traveling for IST reasons. I just got home from a vacation where I went surfing and kiteboarding every day. Also, I ate sushi using one chopstick, by stabbing each piece and bringing it to my mouth. Touching it with my fingers is gross and my way is easier than trying to grab it with 2 sticks.
