What’s your routine? Wake up and straight to the gym? Do you take a shit first? Eat breakfast? Drink coffee?
Everytime I’ve attempted it I’m either gassed super early, or my mind comes up with some excuse to quit.
I typically lift after work (8-5), but this causes me to miss days because I have dinner with a client/happy hour with co-workers/date with a lady friend/etc.
So tell me chads, how to I consistently lift in the mornings?
you'll have to go to sleep earlier (duh).
i wake up around 6am then take a shit, shower, shave, caffeine/preworkout and i'm at the gym by 6:50am. going to the gym early in the mornings works way better for me since i'm too tired to lift after a long day at work, it'll be tough for the first week since you have to adjust your sleep schedule.
Sounds like I’m a step ahead then, I’ve been waking up naturally around 5:30-6 the last few weeks. Thanks for the advise Anon.

My question is how often do you wash your hair?
not him but I do that too. On gym days which is 3-4x a week I take a longer shower before the gym and then a short one after. I was my hair only with water and maybe once every 2-3 months I might use shampoo
I have long hair and just adding a touch of coconut oil is all you need.
i shower before gym and then shower again when i go to bed. i don't use shampoo or conditioner, just water to wash my hair.

Here's my morning
>Wake up at 5:15am alarm
>Immediately get up
>Put coffee machine on
>Browse le 4chins while coffee is brewing
>Realise I need to take a shit
>Sit on toilet for 30 minutes trying to squeeze out some shit, but it's all just farts even though I know there is shit up there because I can feel it, and it will want to come out 5 minutes into my workout session
>Give up with taking a shit, drink coffee and eat banana
>Get in car and go to gym
>Arrive around 6am
>Lift
>Go to take a shit right in the middle of my squats session because otherwise I'll shit myself
>Fin.
>Wake up at 2am
>go to work by 3am
>Drink cold brew
>Work the seasonal section of costco on furniture, sporting goods, grills
>get more cold brew
>go to gym and lift
>go home and shit shower and eat
>do school work because frick doing this forever
>go sauna and read
>eat again
>go to sleep at 6pm
>Alarm at 4AM
>GTFO bed before my brain starts working
>splash some pic related under my stinky pits
>put on clothes
>Walk 5mins to gym
>pick up weights and put them down
it's ez, just make sure you get out of bed in at most 5 seconds after you wake up
I use a patchouli and orange peel brick deodorant from lush
The greatest trick is to put the alarm on the other side of the room so you have to get up to turn it off
Actually the greatest trick is going to bed on time.
The greatest trick is being over the age of 25 and your brain wakes you up right before the alarm goes off no matter what it is set to.

I did it when it was the only way I could fit it in my schedule but it’s not ideal if you’re going hard in my opinion unless you’re one of those weird energetic in the morning types (I hate you)

It's the golden hour for me. Right when sunrise hits and I get to see my neighborhood baked in god rays, it's something I wake up early for... that and my fricking cat yelling for food.

>brush teeth
>wake up my son and get him dressed and pack up his breakfast if it’s a stroller run day (2x week, highly recommend to fellow dads)

>come home
>water garden
>shower
>log on to work
> wake up at 2 am
> caffinate and shower
> go to work at 3 am
> get off work at 9 am
> go to gym, run for 45-60 minutes
> smoke pot at before eating a cup of lentils and entertaining myself until 3pm
> lift for an hour
> entertain myself until 5:30pm
> sleep
> rinse and repeat
