When I was in jail I did jumping jacks and push-ups to exhaustion, read/write, and did the cross words. Played a lot of chess with others. It’s boring and mind numbing
I actually bought a used copy of this last time Bronson came up. Haven't read it yet, but I paged through and there's a lot of deviantart tier comics and a section that appears to advocate jelquing.
That isn't too bad of a setup, that must be at a supermax though, or a European jail, ain't no way you getting a cell like that to yourself otherwise, pretty sure even Death Row guys have to share a space at least in my state. You can do pull-ups off the bars, plenty of push-ups and variations, abs etc. As far as sanity though I mean, idk what to tell you. That cell is significantly nicer than almost all of the solitary confinement cells I have seen though, only way I know to get a room by yourself, and to be brutally honest, depending on the facility you may not be by yourself even in the hole.

Blowing up a government building/s seems to have worked, historically speaking. Nobody should do that, but it seems to result in supermax sentences.

i was in jail for a month. didnt work out but i read a lot and slept a lot.
