i'm not sure anybody actually looks anybody in the eye for more than 2 seconds. it's creepy as frick to stare into someones soul for extended periods.

omg you're not "supposed" to do anything for fricks sake. they're normal people just like you.

I did it on a train for ~10 seconds once and she liked it. Have you tried not being ugly?

Find a mirror and stare in your own.

To read your emotions and because confidence. Looking people in the eye makes you seem more trustworthy and confident. It makes the right people like you more, and the wrong people back off.

No troll, there was actually a series of VHS (yes I am dating myself) videos released in Japan that was specifically for this purpose. Like just someone looking at you to help you practice eye contact.

At the time people were being "Oh Japan is so weird", but it turned out the laughing boomers wound up spawning a look-alike generation of degenerates. Getting back to my Nordic Curls now, you fricking subhumans.

I know what you mean, the whole thing hit me at 25 to 27, and i felt more socially anxious afterwards too, it was like getting back into sports after neglecting it for years. Not that i was always a social butterfly or something, but after my akward stage in highschool i actually had no problem socializing and making friends during my early 20s, now i feel like im slowly getting there again

I have to make a conscious effort not to do that. People find me unnerving and I don't think that's ideal. It would be better to make enough eye contact to not seem like a sperg but not stare people right into their soul like a creep.

I literally get a headache when I make eye contact for more than a couple seconds lmao
    Anyone else

I sometimes look people in the eye for long periods of time while i speak for example, but when i glabce and happen to make eye contact, i try not to go overboard with it. I have quite the intimidating stare unfortunately. Dogs usually get agressive.

Dogs are pussy b***hes and only go aggresive on people they think are weaker than them. You sure you don't have a prey stare?

Nah they were barking but hiding behind their owner. Except for this one dog that tried to jump me because i 'looked like someone it knew'. Usually they just get scared and lay on the ground

I'm pretty much an incel but I haven't ever had trouble with this. You just fall into a pattern of eye contact for a few seconds, then focus on something else, sometimes pretend to be distracted, look at your fingers, look at them but not in the eye. It's not that hard.

You probably have autism. That's actually a key sign.

    >muh eye looking
moronic bullshit done by insecure homosexuals who think it means something. Like saying "bless you" after a sneeze or calculating the exact amount you're supposed to tip your waiter. Doesn't matter.

You just need to stop watching porn, get fit and have confidence youre the hottest guy in the planet, maybe even find Jesus and trust that he is all you car about...doing this will naturally make you look at people in the eye, especially girls, because you have very little or no lust within you...they will sense that and is probably attractive to them since theyve always been praised and seen with lust. A true sincere eye contact cant be forced

My therapist said that looking at people's noses makes it seem like you are looking at their eyes without doing so, I guess it would within a given range only though

I don't look people in the eye when listening to them. Helps them not shit themselves.

Take MDMA at the club once, you will have zero issues staring people into the eyes forever after that.

Thats actually normal, not being able to look people in the eye is bad, but constantly looking people in the eye during a casual conversation aint good either

    >go for a walk
    >see cute girl walking in the opposite direction towards me
    >try not to overtly show that I think she's cute and try to act "natural"
    >start walking manually
    >don't know where to look, want to avoid too strong eye contact but not make it obvious
    >hyper focused on how I'm walking and what I'm looking at
    >start wibbling and wobbling
    >staring up at a nearby tree, then slightly toward her, then a car etc
    >nearly fall over like 3 times in the span of 10 seconds
    >felt like hours
    >she finally passes by, now I can start breathing again
    >brain goes haywire
    >fantasize about said cute girl for months to no end imagining every possible scenario I could've done in that moment to actually start talking to her and win her over
    >go to such length that I even start imagining some absurd morbid scenarios like if only a car nearly hit her and I could've be the one who would see the car coming and save her from that situation and start a family with her everything
    >at this point I waste so much countless hours just thinking about that girl which I literally just saw one time for maybe like 8 seconds or so that I might as well have met her and have had experiences with her, just all in my head
rinse repeat nearly every time I leave my house

Stare at one of their eyes, and just nod your head while they talk. If you feel uncomfortable, acknowledge to yourself how uncomfortable you are and just continue looking at their eye (or eyes).
