having worked in restaurants, its hilarious people would come in and ask about allergens and about their allergies. I remember some post-wall female came in asking if we have peanuts in our restaurant and i almost burst out laughing because peanut allergies can be serious and to ask and trust fricking wagies about this is so pathetic. She was pissed and said "i can die do you think this is funny?" and i just said no and got someone else to deal with her.
Either way, its hilarious people with serious allergies would ever trust a store or restaurant.

Daycares and preschools are the worst, especially for kids who have EpiPens. The logic is absurd. Here's this signed and initialed form that lets you put sunscreen on my kid, oh and by the way if you think she is having an allergic reaction just stab her with this.
Back during covid my older daughter had to take her lunch every day, they made it a point to tell parents not to include items with red food coloring. I end up talking to the mom of the girl who is "allergic" to red food coloring. What's the mechanism behind that? Haven't heard it before. She says, oh yeah if she gets around red food coloring she starts acting a little weird. At her old school she ate something red and tried to stab another kid with scissors. Lady I don't think that has anything to do with red food coloring.
At this point just about everything has that "Made in a facility with peanuts" label.
