How does one cope?

Been lifting for 7 years , never missing a day, doing everything properly, still just ottermode at best and unimpressive at worst.
Love lifting too so i'll forever lift with genetics that do not want to get big

Enough protein and then however many calories i need to either bulk or cut.
Compounds + accesories im not gonna name every exercise
Usually do 4 sets of 8-15 depending on the exercise, 8 on something like bench press and 15 on stuff like cable flies

You look great. But if your results are not to your liking, you aren’t “doing everything properly”. Training every day might not be ideal. Your muscles need rest to grow. You could put on significant size by eating more and potentially training less frequently at a higher intensity, but individual variation is huge. Just experiment more

Better body than 99% of the world. You're good bro

I dont think i look extremely bad, just not getting the results i feel i should based on 7 years of lifting religiously. Thanks for the positivity though

no, but the most common way is to increase the weight you're lifting each session

                Anonymous

Yea i do that when im bulking, but inside a program that prioritizes size not strength, hence why im not at a 4 plate bench at 78kg like some fitizens seem to think i should be

homie what? you're supposed to be increasing the weight regardless unless you're cutting. otherwise of course you're not going to see muscle building progress

                >but inside a program that prioritizes size not strength,
wtf does this even mean? you're still supposed to train for strength in your compound lifts even when doing a bodybuilding routine you just add accessories too.

                Anonymous

Your reading comprehension is so bad holy shit.
I said i increase the weight when im bulking, and I said i only bulk or cut, dont mantain, so obviously the only moment where I dont increase the weight is when cutting.

If you dont know that different programs do different things then stop commenting on posts and lurk for a while to learn. Im saying my program prioritizes for size not strength, since im not doing a powerlifting program like a 5/3/1 or the cube method, Im doing a bodybuilding style routine , and yes, for the 50th time Im adding weight to all the exercises, just not making it my ONLY FOCUS

I've never seen anyone bench over that in real life. Your standards are insanely skewed if you think 10kg shy of 3 plates is a low bench press

                Anonymous

it's not a low bench press especially relative to the average but that being your max bench after 7 years is not indicative of progressive overload

you came to a wrong place to ask a honest question
most people have close to no experience in lifting and act like experts because they've been watching youtube ecelebs for a couple months and think newbie gains continue forever
then you have toxic fatsos who can't move quite a lot of weight because they're fatasses and they're always ready to call you weak
there are some roiders who got even more insecure after roiding and want to put everyone down
anyway you look good, can't take a good photo though and it's normal that after a couple of years of lifting as a natty getting any gains at all is a drag, this is where you should begin experimenting with your routine and start developing as an athlete
