    not a thing that exists. it's water fasting with electrolytes. this guy did not invent it, popularize it, or understand anything about it. there is no "snake" anything.

    not eating food is more effective than going OMAD. you are very smart.

    it absolutely works, but it only works past the 72 hour mark

    you better hope you don't have fricking anything important to do because by that 72 hour mark you will be a fricking space cadet about literally everything no matter how much salt water you drink. one thing that's actually pretty awesome about the salt water mixture he posted up though, does wonders to suppress normal hunger as well. if you supplement a little snakey juice in between meals on an IF routine, makes it 10 times easier.

        it's literally not and he even attests to it himself. 48's are fine and all if you're rolling them, but if you're just doing one a week or some shit all you're losing is water and glycogen.

          bullshit. have you done it yourself or are you just pulling conclusions out of your ass?
          the first 24h are just caloric deficit, nothing special, but if you are active, as soon as you reach the 48h mark you get into ketosis and start burning fat very aggressively.
          I lost 10kg of fat in a month doing one 72h fast per week.

          nope. after 72h I'd lose around 4~5kg, and after eating for a day or two I'd gain 1 or 2kg of water weight back which means I'd lose roughly 1kg a day in a 72h fast.

            That's actually pretty reasonably accurate.
            Assuming a base metabolic rate of 2500 calories, 1 lb of fat contains 3500 calories. In 72 hours you'd consume about 7500 calories ÷ 3500 = 2.14 lbs of fat which is close enough to a kg that it is splitting hairs to otherwise.
            Any weight loss over that would of course be water.

    Looks good, but did he keep the weight off?
    I am considering an extended fast to rid myself of the last few pounds (I'm already lean and want to get shredded) wondering if the shred gains from this are maintainable or if metabolism will downregulate and result in vicious cycle.

    Anyone have experience ridding the last 5 pounds and achieving shreds with fasting?

      you gain back the water weight (7-10 lbs in my experience from fasting) but you keep the fat off

        thanks bro. I'm planning on staying low carb for at least a few days after so hopefully that'll help stabilize it. may even protein sparing modified fast afterwards

    Tbh he looks like shit. Which isn't bad, but typically I'd want to see permanent results that don't look like shit.

    Show me someone who did the snake diet and actually got ripped and maintained the weight loss for more than 6 months
