The most weight lifted by dumbbell rows in one minute (one arm) is 2,184 kg (4,814.90 lbs), achieved by Sergey Skolskiy (Russia) in St. Petersburg, Russia, on 28 December 2021
I can do barbell ohp at 50kg for 10 reps (7 clean then push press) but I can only do 16kg dumbbells and not even get 2 sets of 10 reps. What the frick? I feel like such a pussy doing it
>7 clean
Hence you only do OHP for 7 reps at 50 kg. The push-press reps don't count. >16 kg
32 kg total isn't bad. You can probably do 7 reps with two 20 kg dumbbells.
I can do about 65 pounds in each arm of a dumbbell OHP, for 6-7 reps (on the first set at least, and sitting. I used to d standing with around 55 in each hand, but since sitting is better for front delt hypertrophy I stopped doing it. How would this translate to an OHP with a barbell?
I can comfortably do 25lbs chest press 12x3, with 15lbs fly 12x2 as a warm up. I like the feeling of going low and slow but I'm wondering if higher weight lower volume might be better for chest.
It's so funny that this is basically the only manga/anime to come out in 20 years that shows that it's good to be strong and muscular, and even then they have to use this completely ridiculous looking physique for the guy to really hammer in how unfeasable it is to get jacked. Why are bugmen like this? Why are japs so allergic to masulinity and feats of male strength and power?
Got a decently cheap pair of adjustables that go from 2-32kg, in increments of 4kg after 4.
Maxed them out on some stuff like bench, floor press, split squat, deadlift.
Relatively struggling on some other lifts like OHP, Lat raise, curls.
The 4kg increments really mess me up. Like I can curl and OHP 16kg for 10+ reps easy enough, but struggle getting even a few at 20. I can lat raise 8kg just fine, but can't do 12.
My progression would be a lot better with, say, 2kg increments.
>have adjustable dumbells, go up to 24kg each >use an ikea shoe rack and a pillow for a bench >can bench the max 24kg pretty comfortably for reps, 3x8 usually >feel like im plateauing and need more equipment so last week finally bite the bullet and join a gym >try out their 25kg dumbells >can't even do a single proper rep with them >also their 22.5kg dbs are somehow harder to bench than my 24kgs at home
is this just a quirk of slightly different positioning or something? the adjustables are wider so different weight spread I guess could also have an impact?

That's nothing. I bet I could do 1 500 kg first try.
Does the bar count?
50kg pull over
I pyramid my sets. I have 15, 20, 25, and 30lb dumbells at home. If I want heavier I go to the gym.
Anyone found a subtitled version of this? I find the localisation in the dubbed version unbearable
Here ya go buddy https://gogoanimex.nl/watch/tv-how-heavy-are-the-dumbbells-you-lift-4p0m/ep-1
Ty bronon
They labelled the rhomboids as the "boxer's muscle" instead of the serratus though

Unilateral db presses are a staple circus trick but require a fair deal of technique. Heavy double handed db presses just feel wrong.

what's that got to do with anything, Black person?
i lift at home and use 21kg dumbbells for ohp, pr is 10 reps
never tried the barbell ohp tho, seems like a pain in the back

My dumbbells at home only go to 40lbs. I can go to the gym and curl 60lbs tho.
52.5lbs is the heaviest my adjustable db goes up to.
I can curl 20kgx5 per arm. I can also bench 105kgx10. How bad is this muscle balance
You might be using too much weight on the curls, unless your biceps are your strong point.
huh? I thought my biceps are weak as shit compared to my chest. I see dyels curl that much but no one but the biggest guys bench as much as i do
Most people curl with garbage form.
It’s like killing pull ups but for your arms.
>DYEL's curling 20kgx5
You are full of shit or the DYEL's are throwing their entire back in the curl movement.
I know a dude that has a bench 1rep PR of 90kg that uses 20kg dbs to curl with an okay form

I use 27.5kg dumbbells for incline dumbbell bench, 7-8kg for lateral raises, and 7-10 kg for curls.

Did 85lbs for incline bench. Gonna see how much I can bench on flat tomorrow if the cute redhead is there
Lmao are you me
I did 85lbs x 10 last session and my gym crush is also a redhead
Gonna continue with incline tomorrow though
They are as heavy as how much i hate furries

Seated/hammer curls: 12kg
Overhead tricep extension: 14kg
Incline press: 20kg.
Been working out for about six months, don't know what I'm doing wrong.
i take 30 lb dumbells and pretend i am rowing a mighty ship with them. its my secret exercise
