I was very light blonde when I was a kid, and then it got progressively darker. But at least I'm still genetically blonde, and if I breed with a blonde girl, our kids would have guaranteed blond hair

My grandfather used to tell me that we were all just torchbearers for the legacy of our ancestors. He said that major traumas aside, nurture isn't as important as nature in determining a personality and demeanor. That we're just a combination of permutations for all of the people who came before us. You might have your particular sense of humor because that's how your father or grandfather was, but why were they that way? He used to tell me chances are good that if only we had photographic or video records of ancestors throughout the thousands of bloodlines that comprise who we are, we could find multiple copies of ourselves in various forms both in terms of looks and mannerisms.

He said that the only way you can possibly live on is through your children and grandchildren, because we will all die, and memories of who we are and what we were will fade, but the reality of those traits will continue down through the ages as long as we make sure to pass the torch and do it well. Therefore, genetics are everything. They are not "you" or "yours" but you do get to decide what happens to them. Thousand upon thousands upon thousands of people made their choice which led to your existence. You are the final link in a long series of chains, and you can decide to forge the next link or disappear from existence. He told me to choose who you breed with extremely wisely. Don't mix and miscegenate unless you hate yourself and want your genetic line to be buried. If you like who and what you are, the most important thing you will do during your life is pass those things on to another generation, along with the nurturing ideas, philosophies, and values you and hopefully past generations have had.

A lot of people disagree with that sentiment, think existence is meaningless, or their bloodlines are meaningless and we're all the same (race mixers) but it has guided me well in my life, and led me to happiness, so I think it was helpful.

Stopped reading right there. I don't think my grandfather was laughing at moronic meaningless post irony memes. We're mostly a product of our environment and our genes matter significantly less than most people would like to admit

        >t. moron who can't into archetypes

Your grandaddy is an idiot regardless of who you breed with your genetics will pass on. It is impossible for it not to. Also every human that exists right is a result of some form of miscegenation.

I like to think about it this way: 50% of people who lift for a year with good training and diet will put on around 10lbs of muscle in their first year. Loads of people will put on less than that and just as many will put on more like 15lbs and outliers even more. So someone with really good genetics can put on twice as much muscle compared to an average guy, in the same time with the same training and same diet. That's a lot.

I had red hair when born and it turned blonde within a year. Then by adulthood it was light brown/dirty blonde. That being said there is a difference between redheads and gingers. Lots of babies are born with gingerish qualities that subside with age, I don't know why. Gingers seem to maintain those aspects through life.

Good fricking lord everyone is so obese and fricking ugly. They're all stoners and alcoholics and strung out on painkillers and sometimes literal meth addicts. Have mid skills and work a mid job in order to buy a mid house which they proceed to fill it with nonsense. And that's your one option. You either conform to this and accept this or you get nothing and die alone, schizo seething and kvetching nonsensically into the void.
