How important is Leanness?

Is a good BF% (12% or lower) more important than Muscle Mass when it comes to:

    >The average male super model is 12% body fat or below
    >Average male BF% is 20%

This was a pill I took in 2020 after dirty bulking and ending up looking like shit. Even though my lifts got weaker I don't regret taking the leanpill at all.

You need it balanced. Skinny and cut = pathetic femboy b***h. Bulky, but not cut = you're just a fatass. 15% is a good amount, but you need to be over 200lb

A lot of people underestimate their body fat percentage. I have seen 20% fatties trying to claim they are 15%.

      No such thing

There is. Fat allocation is genetic. There are fatasses for instance with skinny faces and others with low bf that still have a double chin and/or love handles

cheeks are mostly genetic. That doesn't mean my face doesn't get lean, my jawline gets defined but I lack the bone structure to look sharp. So even at 10% bf I still look round, sucks but is better than being fat

    Life begins at 12% bodyfat

Question for any anons: Am I cucking myself by staying bulked up? I started lifting nearly a year ago. The original intention was to lose weight (which I was doing) until I decided it would be best to put on muscle then reward myself with a cut. I just don't feel satisfied yet with my progress and now it's summer so I feel like bulking into winter would be best. I just want to know if what I'm doing is stupid because when I was seriously losing weight I began getting a lot of attention from girls and I wasn't even at 20% body fat yet. Is life really that much better on the other side?

You are not giving any important details at all. What is your height/weight/estimated bf%?

Oh sorry. I'm 6'0/255lbs/ and probably like 25% idk. I've got some muscle from playing sports and being active all my life, so I honestly don't look nearly as fat as you'd think but I'm still fat for sure.

There's nothing wrong with bulking, but currently I wouldn't bulk unless I was to the very least around 10% at the start of my bulking and I would end the bulk around 15%

Staring a bulk if you are above 15% body fat is stupid if looking good is your objective

        >Staring a bulk if you are above 15% body fat is stupid if looking good is your objective
Well yeah I guess that's where the problem started. I started off wanting to look good but once I really got into weightlifting I started to care about strength more. I'm not a full blown powershitter, but I do care about getting stronger now too. Maybe I'm early enough in the process that I my weight isn't such a limiting factor when it comes to building strength?

Highest I'd go is 20% bf while bulking. You want to keep it somewhat controlled

Yeah a lot of the weight gain wasn't muscle, but I think I've nearly caught my body up to speed at this weight. I think I'll cut down to 15% and maintain that until next year then do a proper bulk next fall. I guess a mistake at the beginning isn't the end of the world if I plan on doing this for years.

Most people make that myself myself included years ago. Don't feel bad about it.

I appreciate it man. I guess should prioritize health before all else, even if it means being weak for a while

I ve been through pretty much every possible body conformation to obese to underweight to fat with some gains, fat without gains, skinny with some muscle, skinny without muscle, skinny fat etc. People keep making threads on this subject and I respond to them every time but this time I will try to make it more elaborate because maybe it will help someone. I guess most people are interested in how attractive they are to women based on their bf so I will answer from that point of view, mostly

    >pic 1
I was pretty big, but also fat, girls did not care about me and my then (and current gf) told me that I don't look muscular and that I just look bloated and that muscles are supposed to be sinewy, not puffy. Men were impressed

    >pic 2
I wasn't very fat, had some size, some girls cared, others don't, my bf was on the rise though. Men were impressed

    >pic 3
girls liked me a lot more in pic 3 than in pic 1 and 2, they care about leaness more than anything, even if you don't have muscle. Men did not gave a shit

    >pic 3.3 (because Im a moron)
just..frick my life, nothing more to add, you are dirt to both men and women

    >pic 4
girls liked me and the non lifter men were impressed

    >pic 5/6 girls REALLY liked me even though I was a skeleton. Never before or after have I been approached and messaged by so many girls, but after growing up fat and bullied that only blackpilled me, especially after the girls who made fun of were trying to talk to me

    >last 2 pics
first one is me fat (obviously) and the second one is me not so fat. I don't even look like the same person. Its just saddening. The fat pic is more recent than the second, thin pic. I ve noticed people were treating me like shit because I was not good looking or well dressed enough. Now I am thin again and I look like in the second pic. Around the time I took the first pic, a bird took a shit on me and I thought, eh thats just good luck, I ll get a lottery ticket so I entered the lottery and the clerk kicked me out

      >, eh thats just good luck, I ll get a lottery ticket so I entered the lottery and the clerk kicked me out
That made so sad I had to lose weight again, so I did and I went back to the lottery and the same woman who kicked me out was very nice to me this time. Seeing that difference again and again, from girls, guys, shop clerks and just random people messed me up a bit. I can't get over how superficial they are, I know its a b***h thing to cry about muh superficiality, but when you experience it like I did it just breaks your heart.

Anyways. I never had an impressive physique, but I still think most of my points stand. As for why I blured the faces in the first pic and still chose to show my face, they were already blured and I was too lazy to find the original pics

TLDR women want men who are very low in bf because they think muscle definition is more important than muscle size and some one them cant even tell the difference

      Godspeed anons!
