Two months ago I was doing some light boxing for cardio on a heavy bag I have at home and I landed a bad punch which evidently somewhat hurt my wrist.
My wrist hurt for like 4 days so there was like a constant pain, but it wasn't really painful more annoying really, so I just figured I will go easy for 2 weeks and let it heal up.
Two months have past now and I still sometimes feel this discomfort in my wrist, in particular I noticed that if I try to do pull ups there is usually like a little pop sort of like when you pop your knuckles, but it isn't painful. Otherwise sometimes it hurts when I carry stuff in that hand, like yesterday I carried a box of beans and I could feels a discomfort. Again it isn't seriously painful, but it is there and it does bother me.
If anyone has experience with wrist injuries, how long did I take you to feel like you healed up completely?
it takes a while about 3 months or so
i found u should still train just nothing that is too straining on the wrist so u can build up its strength
for injuries if i do nothinf and go all out once it 'feels good' is quite often to get hurt again
Yeah I'm still training, but I am being careful with my wrist. The part that sucks is that I do a lot of work outside so obviously I am using my hands and wrists a lot and I think that I would probably already be completely healed up if I actually rested for like a month.
When I hurt it I only really rested for like 2 weeks and then since it felt pretty good I was back to working and while I did try to be careful, when doing some things you are bound to be using wrists a lot.
Both my wrists still hurt after 6 years
Sorry to hear that bro, it sucks a lot, hope it gets better for you.
It makes me feel down sometimes, sore all the time. Not sure what to do honestly.
I got a scan years back and they just said either a small tare, or bendy joints?
I get it man, I only had this mild pain in one wrist for two months and it gets to you, like when you have to constantly be careful to not put too much strain on your wrist or you get those sudden pain sensations, when you try to do something.
If I were you I would try and get a second opinion, can't imagine having to deal with this shit for such a long time, hopefully you will find a way to deal with it.
Ok anon I will try
Good luck man.
See a physio or risk it becoming permanent. Wrists are very complicated
I am planning to go to a doctor this week. I know wrists can get messed up real fast if they don't heal properly, so I don't want to frick around with them too much.
doctor will just take an xray, tell you it shows its normal then print some exercises you can find on youtube
This is mainly why I didn't go to a doctor sooner, because I figured that it will go exactly as you described it. Now I am thinking of going there just for the sake of getting the xray, that way at least I will get that and see if there is actually anything to be really concerned about.
BPC-157 and TB-500. Wrists will be back to normal in 1-2 weeks.
you strained a tendon. takes longer
Had the same after an unlucky drunk fall. Was painful the days after it happened but not really feeling broken or anything. So just rolled with it. Then after a few weeks it started hurting again in a weird way. That stayed for a few weeks and now it feels all fine. No idea what it was exactly but it wasn't comfortable and I debated going to the doctor a few times but didn't in the end. Also felt like my nerve was being pinched and my pinky would go a bit numb.
I think that it isn't serious and it should be ok after a while. I am annoyed with it, because it is taking such a long time and it sort of started hurting a bit more in the past two weeks, but I was also working more so I guess I deserve it for not resting my wrist enough.
Yeah you should properly rest it. I found that just some simple elastic bandages when you are at home (I work behind a computer) helped a lot. That way you limit its motion when you don't need it anyway and you can give it some rest. Other than that I did some hand exersises when my hand fell numb and that worked as well. I think I'm in the clear now.
wristlets lmao
