    Why do morons think bulking means a dirty bulk? Barely eat above maintainence and lift weights. Aim to be like 2lb heavier a month. Once you start looking a bit chubby for your liking you do a quick cut. Repeat. It's not complicated

    Bulking sacrifices aesthetics and also make you slower to move in exchange for gaining size and raw brutal strength (especially to lift heavy loads, which can be extremely useful for jobs that are about/include doing that, obviously).
    Want aesthetics, and a moderate balance of more muscular resistance, strength and muscle mass? Just do calisthenics. If done right, they give outstanding results. Helps a little bit if you got good genetics though...
    I only do push-ups and chin-ups 5xF, 3 workouts x week and the results are more than decent. I would love to go back to the weights room, but currently my economy isn't going well so no money for gym sub, food and supplements. Calisthenics are for free.

        Oh yes sorry I forgot about that. Let's suppose you're doing Starting Strength, Rippetoe added the exercise Power Clean for a reason... and that reason is exactly to enhance your explosiveness. (In fact if I remember right, Bill Star said if he had to do only one exercise of all, he would chose the Power Clean).
        That single exercise included in your program will keep you from being a slow brutal ogre and have a decent grade of agility instead.

                Huh let me see... According to my madcow excel registry from 2022:
                SQUAT 3 x 150kg
                BENCH PRESS 3 x 107.5KG
                DEADLIFT 200kg x 3
                BARBELL ROWS 100kg x 3
                PRESS 67.5kg x 5

No access to god-tier quality american supplements but mediocre supplements made in my country. I practiced MMA and swimming at the gym's pool, all in the same day usually.
                All these things, the stats, ~87kg BW 5'9'' height, are about the same period of trining of that pic.

          I’ve put on 25 pounds and even though my knee is not up to the cardio to quickly lose the weight my rehab has me doing 4 sets of plyometrics every other day and I’ve definitely gained a little bounce. I just don’t want anons buying into the pro to every con myth

    My bulk isn't working, I'm supposed to eat 3400kcal a day but I try to eat more than that. I ate 4400kcal yesterday but I can't seem to gain weight
