Look retard there is literally no reason time could not be decimalized and there is nothing about the particular astronomical distances/ratios which requires a base 60 time frame. Base 60 is simply one of the most flexible systems because it is divisible by so many numbers (including 12 and 30). However Twelve and thirty are only relevant because they approximate the number of days in a lunar cycle and the rough number of cycles in a year. The problem is we don't have a lunar calendar anymore- and having a 12 month calendar and a 30 day month doesn't require a 60 second minute or a 60 minute hour.

I had my phone gps tell me I was doing 7:30/mi when after google mapping + timer, it was actually 8:05/mi.
10km in 53 minutes ... I'm almost there.
My brother can do ~45 minutes tho.
My last 10k was 63 minutes. Still better than 99% of the planet
according to https://runrepeat.com/how-do-you-masure-up-the-runners-percentile-calculator you suck monkey ass
I did it in 48 last summer...then I tore my ACL playing Sunday league football, so at the moment I could not.
Hello bro.
Don't use the n-word again or I'll break every rotten bone in your body.
moron
I hit exactly 45 min 6 mile
So prolly 50 min 10k it'd be tight
Yuros:
>Check out our logical metric system with decimalized numbers for volume, mass, length, etc.
Also Yuros:
>we still use base 60 for time.
Explain this yuros.
You realize time is kept on an astronomical basis and not a purely abstract unit of measurement right?

Research decimalised time.
Most successfully implemented during the French Revolution but undermined by ~~*merchants*~~
M8 it was the ~~*merchants and lawyers*~~ that started the revolution.
Think no country ever even tried.
I only run when I'm late, and I'm always on time
44 min while i was smoking weed atleast 5 times a week and 'training' once a week for 5 weeks
10k meters?
Is that like a mile?
Probably everybody
It's about five and a half nautical miles
Nautical?
I didn't know people measured running miles in water.
I am not from a british imperial country so i do not know what a mile you're talking about is
I know SI and i know nautical miles/knots

The trails i run at have distance marked for different paths, i just do the 5km one twice over
I have no idea what the fuck a meter is
