    Iirc the current research shows 8-10 sets per muscle group per week is optimal which should be easy to hit if you're training every group twice a week. You can get gains beyond 8-10 sets but the returns and convenience diminish significantly enough that for most people it isn't worth going over like 12-15, plus overtraining and strain could hinder progress

    I once saw a video of Lee Priest doing 20 biceps+20 triceps sets and it looked perfect so my rule is 20x2 a week for small muscles 20 for quads glutes hams or meme muscles with placebo gains like calves and abs.
