Train all weekdays, rest Saturday, walk Sunday.
7, literally. Rest is for the dead. I'm a culinary educator and there is a world class fitness facility on campus, which included an Olympic sized swimming pool. I swim 10k every morning before work, among other exercise. I eat extraordinarily well for free (part of my salary) then eat another extraordinary meal my wife prepares when I get home. I workout in our home-gym with her every night when the kids fall asleep then take a shower together to wash away the greasy sweat. I never overdo it on the weekends when working out with the wife. Usually low impact shit.

I’m in an odd transitionary period where I’m finally in a nice paying job after uni but also single. I find myself going to the gym literally only out of habit even if I should probably be taking a rest day. I’m not sure what I’m doing or my purpose but I have an odd sense of happiness and fulfillment I haven’t experienced before

I pin twice a week.

Cardio on my rest days
Probably switching to a 6day ppl soon

I never feel like rest days due to being super OCD/autistic about only eating stuff that's healthy for you
1 day gym (compound and isolation)
1 day cardio (run to the hills)
1 day yoga for the pain

I would do 6 if my gym opened consistently, but it's impossible to do without messing up the rest of my daily routine.
Additionally, you only work out more than me if you know how to do full body. PPL for instance just means someone who works out the max number of days a week is just lifting twice a week.
