i do 39 kg(86 lbs) on a curl bar while standing for either 2 or 3 sets of 12-15 reps, why do you ask anon? is that information really that interesting?
>door handle at his mid torso
He’s definitely short
Probably strict form. Too many anons/gymgays cheat on curls to bump their numbers at the expense of gains.
im 5'11 unironically
but yeah, my father had big arms and good biceps as well so genetics are surely in the play here
also just like anon said, i prefer to do my curls clean with lower weight than cheat with higher weights
obviously i occasionally curl 17-20kg dumbells to shock muscles but 10-12kg works the best for me
and i do intensive training always to compensate
45secs of rest between sets, couple minutes of the rest between excercises
Sad to hear about what's happening to NH. Love that froggy homie.
Right now I'm curling 32.5KG (70lbs?) on my ezcurl bar for 4 sets of 12. I can do 4 sets of 17KG (37lbs) dumbbells for 4 sets of 12 with pretty clean form, and 20KG (45lbs) with hammer curls.
Arms are 39cm (15") flexed with no pump, just measured them. Pumped they go up like another inch, I think. Taking a while to grow them because they're so long but I'm seeing good progress, in no small part thanks to the programming advice given by the aforementioned frogger.
Well he's going to start charging his subs for money. He placed himself in the best position when he started cause his channel was 100% revenue-free meaning he could upload whatever the frick he wants. Now he's going to be forced to sell out
>Well he's going to start charging his subs for money.
why? he has irl job right? >Now he's going to be forced to sell out
so hes become another bullshit eceleb??
He does. Read the OP, it's his community post. Most likely his wife is pregnant and so quit her job, so he has to make more money and can't afford to do youtube for free like he has been for 3 years now. So he either quits youtube and focuses on his job or starts charging for youtube, and it looks like he's gonna go with the latter.

I'm sure I remember this guy saying something along the lines of "if I ever start making money from this, stop watching my videos because they will be garbage"
12 sets of 15 reps per arm with 30lbs dumbbells. I've always heard that more volume at lower weights was better than little volume but higher weight for arms.
I can curl at least 110 lbs or 50 kg at 80 kg or 176 lbs bw, I've done 88 lbs or 40 kg for 10 reps
most of the time I do 3x8-12 with around 70 lbs or 32.5 kg followed by one set of 49 lbs or 22.5 kg to failure
yes high volume yes burn etc whatever, you still don't need to go over 20 and I'd say 15 is probably high enough already. If you go higher weights, do it standing
the key is to focus on the negative side. If you curl the weight up that's just the first part, but so much growth is in the negative (the dropping of the weight to the rest pose). Anyone can drop a weight, but if you move it down controlled and very slowly, I guarantee you you'll feel it and your biceps will grow bigger. To minimize accidents, don't go too heavy when you focus on the negatives of the exercise because there'll be a lot of prolonged tension on your arm, and do them standing, not on a curl bench
pic rel is me, I'm 5'11 my arms are around 16-17 inches
I cannot stress enough how important the negative side of the curl is, and also how important it is you do them safely (standing, not too heavy)
the best is when you can have someone lift the weight up for you so you can do some extra reps of just the negative

35lb dumbbells for 4 sets of 12
And there it is. Make up the larp persona, build the loyal cult fanbase and start charging money.
its a business at the end of the day
Youtube is an advertising company.
he's 100% a psychopathic fake natty with this plan from the beginning
Depends on the type of curls.
standing dumbbells
I guess 40.
you sound like a homosexual
meant for
I can do 40 but I like to do 30lb for 12 and then 20lb hammer curls immediately after.
40lbs 4x10
50 lbs for 3x12
Can do 55 for 6 reps.

12,5 kg on each hand for incline curls
What’s a genuinely impressive bicep circumference? I hear 16” a lot but I see a lot of gym goers with disproportionally small biceps.
Forgot to post lift: I can do 45 kg on a barbell so 50lbs dumbells for a couple
Dunno anon, just measured mine and they're slightly under 15", don't feel like they are even remotely close to being impressive
60lbs total on the easy bar, 4x12-13.
IDK man. 17 since lots of your arm can be just tricep.
16" if you are at least 15% bodyfat
im a lanklet who just started im at 12.5" without pump
Depends very heavily on bf%
17
but what if-
17.
You made it.
Is training biceps 3 times a week too much? I got an arms day but would throwing in a few sets of strict curls here and there on other days be useful?
3 times a week is definitely okay. It's a relatively small muscle and recovers easily
do make sure you don't overwork your tendons
I work arms 4 times a week.
Triceps on push days, biceps on pull days.
Just be careful of what this anon said
, tendonitis isn't fun.
16inch at 12% is big to normies.
I just did 12 lb dumbbells for a set of 40 on the seated incline curl.
Around 3 sets of 40 lbs x 10 lately
25lb
in each hand
for reps
it's no big deal
I do 35lb dumbbells 3 sets of 20
50lb 3 sets of 12 clean form. same for hammer. Can go up to 55 or 60 but the form wont be clean and ill struggle after 8th rep
40lbs for my last set of ten is my current max
25kg barbell 8 reps
~70lbs barbell curl for 2 reps lol. My biceps are nonexistent.
40lb 3x10 curls
30kg barbell 4 sets of 10
10kg dumbbells 4 sets of 10
5kg dumbbells pump to hell
outside of that hammer curls obviously
Crazy how you can have arms like with such low numbers. Must be a genetic strong point.
He’s probably short.

Based beyond belief
I can curl the 60lbs dumbbell and rep the 50 for I think 7 (almost never do it)

30kg preacher curls 5x5
25kg preacher curls 5x10
>Regime bans his patreon account
Nothin personal kid
55lb 3x8 alternating dumbbell but I can do 60 with a bit of cheating. My pinwheel curl is 65lb
3x10 @ 40lbs preacher ez bar curls
3x8 @ 25lbs db curls
I’m like a month into consistent training. Still a noob, so my numbers are going up every week

Mirin’ bro, thanks for the advice.
Frick my bad meant for
It doesn't matter how much you curl. What matters is whether or not you have big biceps.
Frick I'm stuck at 12kg on each arm bros. I do slow controlled reps though but I can barely hit 9
